Thunderlord's Decree instead of Electrocute.
With the new rune system comes new power and also new weaknesses. The keystone we all knew as Thunderlord's Decree got replaced by Electrocute during runes reforged. Players who used to play with Thunderlord's Decree on certain champions felt a huge nerf to their playstyle and to their champions. Meanwhile other keystones got added that were much more powerful than Electrocute, such as Arcane Comet, Press the Attack, Aftershock and so on.
For Thunderlord's Decree you had to hit the enemy three times for it to proc. That's what we did and that's what happened.
Meanwhile the description for Electrocute says. "Hitting a champion with 3 separate attacks or abilities within 3 seconds deals bonus adaptive damage."
Hopefully the "nerf" of the former Thunderlord's Decree is very clear as it says "attacks or abilities". That means that for ex. a
who used to play with Thunderlord's and could combo aa Q aa to proc Thunderlord's now lose more trades as he now has to aa Q aa aa to proc the new Electrocute.
Meanwhile other champions like
,
and so on can still proc it with only 3 hits as their kits allows them to.
players now have to escape to the Sorcery three which is not necessary the best option for them. It's the keystone changes that forces them to move away from domination. The precision tree might be useful sometimes but nothing can beat the old Thunderlord's for a Thunderlord's Decree player in general.
