8 Straight losses in ranked...Help?

Basically I am just writing this to get some help on winning... I have been playing League on and off since 2010, gold since 2012 (currently high silver and climbing) and the meta has changed so many times that game play is always changing.

I am still stuck in the 2010-2012 version of the game (I was most active then) where it was all about individual performance to carry a team, but now league is MUCH more team based than ever before.

After losing 8 straight games as Syndra mid (my best champion) I want to know what I can do better for my team because even though I lost my last 8 games, my average KDA + creeps/game is 7.5/6.9/4/5 with 236 CS/game (This KDA is lower than my average due to all of these games being losses).

Try playing meta champions. As much as I hate to say it, the game evolves around them. Champions like fizz, graves, kindred, Lucian, Ezreal, ekko,etc have extreme capabilities when played at max potential.

I hate that ekko is meta '^'

He wasn't really meta around the end of season 5 iirc

You are not playing meta mid champions nor are you counter-picking. Not too smart of an idea. If you really don't like the meta that is fine, but you better counter-pick the lane and make sure you win it. Syndra is a strong laner but there is no way she countered 8 games in a row. If you want to one trick that's fine, just know your elo will likely suffer
