It's a matter of size

Hi there,

Hopping from here to Dota2 and back I got my mind on a matter that could be interesting to explore (more literally than it seems) in terms of gameplay. Something that made a huge difference between the 2 games for me was the fact that in Dota2 you could actually leave a lane and take some time ganking/roaming before you had to worry about the towers and that opened a way for lots of opportunities.

So, my suggestion would be to simply increase the Summuners' Rift map size making (top and bot, mid can also stay the same or increased of a lesser ratio) lanes longer and jungles bigger so that minion waves won't get under your turret in a matter of seconds and pushing a turret will ALWAYS be a risk if you didn't ward.

I think this could be a huge gain in terms of strategic choices. Collateral balance changes in terms of mobility being too much of an advantage (or anything else I cannot predict) are ofc welcome.

Your opinions are welcome :) If you think this is a good thing to discuss (agreeing or not with that) please vote it up because I'd really like to have visibility and hopefully a Red's answer to this.

that would limit the number of playbale champs on sidelanes even more, as any champ withut escape would have alot trouble on even longer lanes, and a bigger map would promote mobillity even more. Rather increase the tankiness of outer turrets and minions to increase the time waves need to push while also allowing you to leave the tower without loosing it to one push...
