The first 5 are all ranged, or psuedo ranged, with playstyles very similar to ranged champions. Of the other five, you have two overtuned divers who can abuse the currently overpowered runes crowding out top lane, as well as who synergize very well with the poor itemization balance (cough
cough) to be more powerful than they should be, while yes, doing quite well against the ranged cancer because they are able to abuse multiple overpowered systems at the same time, with the interaction being beneficial as well. What next but two more ranged and safe champions! Finally, we have the single true melee of the entire 10, a tank who's picked against ranged laners to stall and freeze the lane, while hoping to be more useful in teamfights, but essentially giving away the lane for free to his opponent.
To recap, ranged champions and how strong they are currently are deciding 10 out of the top 10 picks, with 7 of those being champions who abuse others inability to trade with them due to their high range, lack of resources/mana costs, and mobility, two of them being simultaneous Conqueror and
abusers, and pretty much the only viable tank to pick against the opressive and ranged picks in top lane-- who loses most of his lanes, and is picked for teamfighting to hopefully make up for how little ranged toplaners contribute to the teamfights.
