Basically if it isn't there for their little chat filter bot to see then Riot can just play out of sight out of mind.
Basically Riot doesn't care about anything but verbal toxicity by non-popular streamers. It took XWX trying to sell his Riot given pro account before Riot finally did something about his very obvious boosting.
I hate to bring up that guy (who I won't name) that got banned recently, but he had 5 (I've heard 7 but I only know of 5) accounts permanently banned and still Riot was letting this guy make more, as he streamed daily. We have multiple cases of pro players trolling and being VERY toxic even in chat on stream, popular...erm...heavy chested streamers (I don't know a better way to describe them without leaving out their name) who were well known for intentionally feeding and trolling that were never banned.
Riot can tow the PR line all they want, and give us those all popular "stats", but it is fairly obvious that if they can't record it in a word document (ie chat logs) then they take it less seriously. Why do you think we will never have voice chat? They have no way to police it (and have said as much).

Odinakos4 votesIt is because chat toxicity is the most obvious and easily trackable offence. There is a difference beween unintentional and intentional feeding. If you want a good example, look at Hashinshin. He has a handful of extreme scores (both feeding and his lane opponent doing so) because of his highly aggresive laning style and picks. That turns the game into camping his lane (for both junglers) and that leads to extreme scores on both scales.
As for voice chat. I dont want it for a community that has proven again and again that can be highly toxic. I remember when HON launched and our mid got first blood due to jungler. I said "gj mid" and jungler started heavily flaming me because i didnt mentioned him. Oh boy how quick i disabled that for ever (the whole 2 weeks i played!). The same will happen if LoL implements that and will only use it for my premades. And that rarely.
I am all for bringing solo queue again (and trully make it solo, no duos). But blaming Rito for "not caring about other toxic behavour other than verbal abuse" seems like an excuse for people flaming when their team gives first blood.

Yet another friend, possible booster, that DQ OP, climbed to Gold while im bronze and i can 1v1 him while counters me and i play smarter overall (he is good mechanically, bit prone to tilt and S5 Silver plays XD).

I don't know how they can call the system competitive if diamonds really can perform that poorly and still keep their border.

I did reach Gold V soon enough, but it was a pain. I'm always against one tier or two above the one I'm in. The point is climbing by beating those of the same level. Why do I have to beat of the next tiers already when I'm not there yet ? Just makes ranking up a pain in the ass..
Xonra6 votesThe MMR is more and more loose as the seasons go on, and the DQ has made the "hidden MMR" even more all over the place.
You might at worst last season get a gold 5 with silver 2 MMR or a Bronze 5 with silver 5 MMR and so on.
This season you could be in a game of plats and face a gold 4 or lower, as the system starts trying to fill in the blanks with whatever it can, plus the guys that are not 100% at your rank, but it tries to "Even out" the MMR like it does in normal games.
This is why ranked is a cluster f*** right now, because the ranks mean jack squat but that is all you see, and all that actually matters at the end of the season.

Badfish21 votesim pretty fucking heated about this too. Season 6 just seems like a huge waste of time. I main support and I have games with between 60-90% Kill Participation. I average more than 20 assists a game (or at least I did before today's 4-game feeding frenzy I had to endure and could only manage 1 or 2 assists). Some of the assists are just from throwing a buff or a heal or something, but a large majority of them come from me, the support, setting my team up to win team fights.
And yet I get stuck in the shit-show that is Bronze because of those feeding frenzies that my soloq team mates like to throw my way.

You're not talking me out of it. That was a good suggestion. I can't climb by hoping I get an ADC that doesn't feed or can actually farm.
I've done well with Garen top and Kayle top/mid. Gonna take Trynd to norms to see if he's someone else I can try.
If I can climb out of Silver like that, I'll dip back to support in Gold.

Just gotta pick a champ which can snowball hard and force the other team to react to you. Zed is also a nice pick.

I played three normal games with Trynd after reading your suggestion. I think I had a grand total of around 100 CS and 1 kill between those three games. I think I'm done trying to play Tryndamere XD
However I managed to find a good, steady group of players and we've been climbing like bosses.

Tier-demotion-shielding only accounts for like 8 successive losses in a row @ 0 LP. Not to mention that a 16.7% win rate would absolutely plummet his MMR in like 20 games.
