It's not Season 4, anymore. Junglers now smite early so that the bonus helps them clear their first camp quicker.

I know as Jhin adc when helping leash my jungler this minority annoys me, because if they didn't I could 4th shot crit the tromp without worrying about stealing it, and thus make it 'faster'.

well, that's just a thing of knowing how much damage your crit does at which amount of enemy hp. I was scared first, but now I'm using my 4th shot for almost any leash, besides those with a good dmg supp or very fast junglers. Works well.

And thank you for this, now I know to body-block if the enemy team has Jhin and a ward on the camp. Better learn it here than the hard way in a ranked game.
