I auto ban Illaoi lots and lots. The moment I stop, she gets picked and we lose game at 20minutes. Why is she made so when I gank my top laner she 1v2's us? Then snowballs the lane. She pulls me, kills my damn soul, and i leave with 25% hp, and the best part, is that after 3 seconds, its back up. What is this champion? She can tank long enough so that her team joins the fight, and then we dead. WTH? SOMEONE HELP ME!!!! Im losing my mind, I cant leave Gold 5
Big Lincoln3 votesdodge her E and she can't 1v1, let alone 1v2. Illaoi has almost all of her fighting ability tied to whether or not she lands that spell. If you dodge it, you can force her to flash which she'll probably still die depending on how far she pushed, or you can force her to ult and try to win anyway, which means you can just walk away from her and then come back after a couple seconds, when her ult is almost up she loses her ability to do damage quickly.

Cover your ears or don't watch the vid at all if you are sensitive to language or have younger people around you. He can use some kinda rude comparisons, but they do help illustrate the in-game situations nicely.
rip john shelby1 votesStay behind minions so she cant land her E, only fight her when she misses her E, dont stay in her ult, try to sidestap her abilities, abuse her weak first three levels, gank her until she is level 6, dont stay in her tentacles, beware to get doublehit through E, if you can counterpick: play Fiora (Very strong level 1-3, she can block Illaois E, you rape her during late), Tryndamere or Kayle
