BMB was an amazing gamemode. I loved the new items, the razorfins, the Gangplank announcer, every part of it. Why not bring it back? It sure would be a lot more fun than Legend Of The Poro King

Rivini11 votesI didn't care much at all about the new items in the mode, with exception to the one AP item that gave MS when hitting an enemy with a spell, but what I really liked was being able to customize and upgrade my minions. I played the mode a lot just for that, and also the music:

They're busy working on other things, so spending a LOT of time updating Doom Bots for the potential chance that it might be used in the next couple of years seems wasteful. Doom Bots was one of the most coding intensive things they've ever done in League.
LichKing2341 votesi think you miss understood me there my friend i ment that with the SR update its nothing mroe than an improved model of the old one nothing more nothing less meaning it wouldnt be hard to fix the coding of doom bots ( not for permant but for rotation) since again doom bots are nothing more than a more bs ai and yeah creating a new ai is hard as hell.
what im saying is that if a problem arises in doom bots ai code for the new SR it wouldnt be hard to fix for rotation since the new SR again is nothing more than a new model (with alot of the same coding from the old Sr and yes i know they used alot of spaghetti code so maybe new Sr is somewhat more toned down but again not hard to fix
Leetri1 votesIt's not the map itself, it's the game as an entirety. Have you ever modded a game? A lot of mods simply stop working completely when the game updates because of file changes. Sometimes they have to completely rewrite the entire mod because of for example file structures changing. That happened with Minecraft. There's not many large 1.9 mods out because they changed a lot of how they work in 1.8. It takes too much time to completely rewrite the large mods so they never updated past 1.7.
LichKing2341 votesyeah i have modded a game before and yes im fully aware that if the game has a huge update some mods can stop working. but what im saying is riot has to update everything including code just incase they want to bring something back so more than likely they have updated the doom bots code (if it needed updating again speculation) for rotation not permanent. and again even if new summoners rift code is different than old summoners rift its not by much if anything the only codes that i would think that would change is the new monsters code, turret, and the adding of the rift herald and maybe new baron and dragons other than that everythings pretty much the same minion spawn time and all that jazz.

WHY spend a LOT of time updating their most coding intensive project ever that might have to be completely rewritten from the base up when they could spend the same time updating 5 different modes? It's not a question about if they could do it (they will eventually), it's whether or not it's worth spending all that time and resources updating a single mode this early. The game has changed a lot more than you think in the last 2 years.
LichKing2341 votesno i get where your comming from but heres the thing with that how do we know they havent updated it already we dont knwo what goes on at rito headquarters i mean they apperently had played for rotation que to be a thing so whos to say they havent already updated doom bots code plus if they didnt they would disappoint alot of doom bot fans ( like myself) and it would be a waste as doom bots if ir ember correctly even got lcs players and they could barely beat them and doom bots was one of the best game modes to happen that and URf so more than likely they have updated the code for doom boots and it might be in rotation maybe not soon or maybe next week who knows .

The game could use more strategic level plays (more objectives like dragon/baron/scuttle/ect), and the ability to buff your minions rather than improve your own power would be a welcome change in my opinion. But they've actively removed mechanics that did that in the past, so I don't expect it to happen.
