It is absolutely ridiculous to have plats and diamonds on the team paired up with silvers who got lucky in their placements. They get absolutely stomped in 99% of my games and we unlucky plats/diamonds who did terribly in placements have to suffer through the feeding frenzy of silvers on our team.
Why on earth would it be okay to have silvers and diamonds on the same team?
This climb up the ranking ladder is based off of luck and which team gets the lucky silvers.
I just made almost the same exact thread. I have the same problem except for me, I was gold last season and now I am placed in bronze. Whatever team wins right now is basically whatever team has the least amount of trolls/feeders. 100% luck based.
This season is so stupid. I don't know what riot was thinking. This is the worst it has ever been.
Sad thing is I am silver, but you know whenever I am put against plats, diamonds, and golds I still win lane or at least break even in farm and manage to keep up all game. My biggest problem with placements has been being placed with out silvers who are downright bronzies at heart. I mean I watch them focus down the tank then sit there wondering why we lost the fight even thought we were way ahead because I roamed and helped lanes after finishing with mine.
The team fights with people in silver is almost like watching a bunch of people with 500 ping play sometimes. I just want to yell at my team mates but, I stick to 'Please focus ___'. Or 'Stop focusing _____'
And when I do get the higher elos on my team its a steamroll because the enemy team is composed of a bunch of clueless silvers and bronzies who feed.
