It's been a while since the King of Top Lane dominated. With the arrival of , how do think Renekton stands in the current tank-dominated and teamfight orientated meta?

as a teamfight tank, he is outclassed by, well, tanks, and as a lanebully Darius does a lot better job, same with garren. Or gnar as ranged aas are still op vs melees. his laneing isn't strong enough to beat gnar or mao, maybe get a small cs advantage, but thats about it, while his teamfight impact is alot worse. And if he faces a darius or garen, he just gets destroyed. He was strong vs irelia, jax and riven as he could buly them while beeing relative save from ganks compared to garen or darius. He'S not in a great spot overall and even worse in the meta atm.

most popular renekton only streamers have dropped to diamond 5 or plat, and any pros that used to play him don't anymore, his strength was the ability to bully top lane carries but with everyone playing safe tanks like Maokai he can't snowball anymore and just gets outscaled
