New Black Cleaver vs Trinity Force on Xin Zhao

The new BC has a phage proc like Tri force and was wondering if it would be better then triforce on xin. I know it hasnt come out yet but i just wannasee what my people think.

Would probably use it when I want to be more of a "Support" Tank Xin Zhao, focusing on utility instead of carrying.

Will still probably go Trinity Force when I want to go full Raid-Boss Carry though.

Or take both. Forego some gold benefit unfortunately but both synergize hard with Xin.

Like I said, forego some gold benefit. Both items work excellently on Xin Zhao since he hits really fast so Cleaver's passive stacks, triforce procs, much more tankiness, and cdr. It's not something like stacking lichbane and ibg where almost the whole point of the item is spell blade. I'd still do it.

Ill test it. Seems like an ok item on xin because it still offers cdr and phage passive.

I already get black cleaver on XIn Zhao when im jungling and get triforce if im doing good or if my team is tanky enough that i dont need to get tank items right away

Early game Triforce, later sell for Cleaver, if they stack armor. Even if you are going glass cannon Xin, Tri is not that good lategame.

Dont quote me on it since im not familiar with xin but on the first look it appears inferior. you already have %arpen with your passive, and your E is magical damage, and i dont even know whether the ult is physical or magic aswell. But even with phage you almost always have problems sticking to targets, no matter if you go glass cannon or bruiser, but with the sheen proc you have more burst. so I'd favor that. but would probably be best if you just test it^^

You still get the 10% ms from Tri, this helps you get in E range faster or run faster. It also amplifies the Phage proc

Tri gives much needed attack speed and a bit of crit chance as well. Plus a bit of AP for some increased healing and E damage.

You already have some % reduction on your Passive, and by the time you get Cleaver to max stacks your Q will be gone and your enemy should be mostly dead

In Devourer builds Cleaver is even less effective.

The only thing Cleaver has going for it is the CDR to jumpscare your enemy a bit more often with E. The Q cd is about a wash since it doesn't go on CD until all the stacks are used (it kinda scales with attack speed) and a slightly higher uptime on W, which doesn't make up for all that you lose by not building Tri.
