Placements?
I got placed Bronze 1 from Gold 5, when I only lost three games in total?
Isn't that a bit ridiculous? I could see being made S3 and having to work back up but an entire division + more?
Especially from only three losses in placements.

i would you say its mmr based but that makes no sense, i was told it goes of f the mmr of your opponents so of a bronze 1 goes 5-5 or 4-6 against silver 3 he should be ranked high bronze/low silver but going from gold to bronze is odd, i would have guess the ranked of your opponents would be gold 23 high and silver 3 low. meaning you shouldn't have dropped lower than a silver 3
someone went 3-7 from plat 3 and got bronze 1. not that bad tbh
Eh I was fighting high Plat through low Diamond and I went 6-4. Was Plat 3 got placed Gold 3. It's whatever since Riot put me at a lower elo than what I am to punish those I come across as I climb back.
I think it matters whether you get those wins in a row rather than spread out throughout your placements. If you go 7-3 and win in a row, you notice every game you played after increased in difficulty. But if you were like 1 win, 1 loss, 2 wins, 1 loss, then you're not moving up in MMR in placement matches.
