THE REAL problem with aram, riot completely ignored.

The real problem with the state of aram wasnt ziggs/lux etc etc... Its Ludens echo and the comet keystone. Those 2 combined just made for such a hellish nightmare, if a team had 3-4 comets they'd surely all build ludens and bam your team is taking so much damage even when they are dodging 95% of the spells they just get splashed damaged by a ludens proc off creeps into comet.

My other thoughts on the recent aram changes... REVERT ANY STATIC +% damage or -% damage/ +%dmg taken or -%dmg taken. You guys clearly didn't apply any type of scientific approach, I know you have loads of data but you double nerfed some people and double buffed some people via the new items... So your stats, your variables are all skewed and will not show you ANY MEANINGFUL data.

Did you know when ice cream sales go up so does crime??? WHY??? its because HEAT. You guys are pulling too many levers at once and not the right ones. Ludens needs to be nerfed by 50% and arcane comet's cooldown increased thats literaly the only thing that needs to happen for poke to be manageable.

Lastly, I think the bans are a waste of time, had people dodge 5 games back to back ( thats like what a minute and 40 seconds of my time wasted just from bans?? LOL) The BANS AND BENCH COMBINED BOTH RUIN THE SPIRIT OF ARAM. I may have a bias, I don't like the bench really that's when I noticed teams were just even more stacked but now you are adding bans you are simultaneously changing both sides of the statistical curve.

Fix the creeps, revert them ffs, It's not fun winning for 7 minutes, your team has 2 deaths they have 9, boom 2-3 ppl die on your team because inevitability and boom since they had the opportunity to buy items you just lost two towers and your inhibitor... Personally I'm starting to think of riot like the dumb ass king in the Gladiator movie, they just decide what champions are OP and which ones suck just for their sick entertainment. No offense riot but IMHO, Every change youve made to aram for the last 2 years has made it worse. I find my self playing less and less, which is fine because all good things come to an end. Down vote away, won't matter riot only listens to people who feed into their confirmation bias.

Would have to agree with all those, especially for the percentage change to specific champions. I am not just being whinny at all. I do find some of these recent changes a good start for the game mode.

The banning, I really don't mind, as that helped with the ridiculously unfair matchups created by the randomness. I did find the banning make that part of ARAM less problematic.

Riot had me on the patch right up until they released an extra patch to buff and nerf champs specifically. I understand it can be frustrating to face certain champs sometimes, but having +/- % damage reduction and damage taken is just lazy work to me. For instance, if you had Maokai, you are getting +10% damage taken, and -10% damage dealt. You have to use more time to recover those damage you lost, on top of that, you survive shorter because you are taking a lot more damage. Let's say you are facing champ that also have increase % damage buff, you are being punished not for mistakes, but for using the champ alone. Of course, I can always go tanky, but I am still losing the value of the items just because I am Maokai. This really makes the game mode worse than before.

These changes are just lazy because ARAM is really not the main game mode of League. If you think the percent buffs and nerfs are fine, why did you not do that to Summoners Rift in the first place? Before these changes, people still feel frustration toward certain champs. A lot of the time, that's because we are not dealing with that champ properly, but not because the champ is ridiculously powerful. In contrast, ARAM now is flooded with some really ridiculous champs for real. SEJ, for example, has a -10% damage taken buff. She can just build health and she will be fine, there is nothing I can do to counter that -10%. Let's say your team is also unlucky to have all the -% damage deal champions, well good luck trying to take her down.

ARAM used to be about the randomness and the plays you can make from the randomness. You can have an off-meta build and still make something happen. The new backstep spell is really nice and opens dozens of opportunity for a play. Warmog no longer turns you into a resetting jungle monster when out of combat for a couple of seconds, which is nice so tanks cannot just get in and get out, then get back in with full health again. 15% damage reduction over 900 distance, however, is debatable. Partly because it really punishes champions for doing them part. You can't blame a Ziggs for poking you constantly because that's just what the champion does. This encourages these long range champions to misposition just so that they can do their job properly.

I believe most of these changes are caused by really careless mistakes people made in ARAM. People getting caught because they cannot position themselves. Losing control over both bushes because we are not playing correctly. Champs are not dying and constantly recovering health but no one wants to get grievous wound either. The whole team poked to beath because the team missed the opportunity to engage. I really can't complain about poor matchups, since it is random. The point is, the nature of these changes is like a "get out of jail free card". You are gifting people that make these mistakes and punishing people who don't at the same time with these changes, making unfair matchup even more unfair.

Sona, Ziggs, Lux, Yi, and a few others are literally the problem. Lux was always a problem. Way before Luden's was a thing and before Comet existed, she was always a problem.
