I don't say this because I've seen yasuo's in my games that got fed. I don't say this because I am annoyed by his kit and I don't say this because I can't bother buying armor or anything

I say this because every game I do my best and make him useless early, but that doesn't even fucking matter. After he gets a phantom dancer, triforce and IE there's literally 0 things you can do about that. Oshit, he bought a bloodthirster and has the warlord's bloodlust keystone. What do I do? Nothing, there's no way in hell you can kill that guy due to his shield and crit q dmg, and if he decides to build lifesteal it's game over. Kite him? Nah, he has a big "fuck you" windwall that ignores all your attempts to counterplay him

I can't imagine a 0/7 yasuo in the enemy team farmed up a bit and got his items, then proceeded to deal half of our adc's health with just one q Worst thing is that he can also build tank and deal just as much damage as he would do if he built full ad/crit

Only in the right hands is Yas a horribly strong pick. He isn't nearly as simple as Annie and Warwick and has a higher skill floor and ceiling. His kit is overloaded with low cds, no resources, and psuedo-ult but he still has counterplay.

Early game in mid lane as a mage or assassin, you have to do one of the two things.

A. Accept that his early game is stronger than yours, play safe, and let him push the wave (not too hard) and try to set up a jungle gank. He has no escapes in his kit and dashing towards the minions is counterproductive to escaping. B. Bait his wall if you have a lot of skillshots. It has a long cd, and you should be able to get some dmg in that 20 second + window. If you're a melee champ, then try to get some dmg when dashes to you and away from you then back off (e.g. Diana e when he tries dash away from you.

His mid game until he finishes item 3087 + item 3031 is pretty weak unless you gave up 2+ kills to him. Bait his windwall if you have important skillshots then all-in him.

Late game, there is not much you can do except aim him down unless you're a cc bot. Peel for your carries and try to force fights in an open jungle (near baron or dragon) where he doesn't have so much mobility to abuse. And he actually does not deal the same amount of damage if he built tank as he would full crit. He does not deal %health dmg that allows him to abuse tanky. He can deal quite a bit with item 3022 and item 3078 but not nearly as much as he would with item 3087 item 3031 item 3072 item 3036 even with item 3046 then full tank he still is not the extreme damage and lifestealing pain in the ass he can be.

He sees a huge power spike with his core item 3087 item 3031 but if you're really ahead and really made him useless early game. he's an easy gold mine with his lack of escapes, range, and tankiness.
