How to guide a team that loses their sense of direction? and a Mini Rant.

In Silver 3, and completely losing my s***.

I have games where I can go 14-25+ kills and still lose the game, because I cannot convince my team to go into a certain direction to win the game. Often times, more than not they would overextend and make the game a 3v5 or a 2v5, then I would be the one to blame because simply, "I cannot carry hard enough with all those kills"

A perfect example is when your team wants to group up mid, when Tier 1 and 2 towers are already broken, but Bot lane and Top lane have bulks of enemy minions that are pushing. You tell them to back off mid and push out side lanes first. But the team gets caught out of position then dies making it a 1v5, 2v5, 3v5.

You simply cannot carry a team that is DEAD.

The real question is, how am I supposed to carry people like this? How can you convince your team that winning games depends on pressure more than getting kills? Or convince them that pressuring one side of the map and forcing 2+ enemies towards that area is actually an advantage than a disadvantage?

It feels like I'm overworking myself every game, I need to focus on counter jungling, making sure I'm at my buffs on time, making sure I know where the enemy jungler is, see what lanes can be ganked/dived, what abilities champions do, if there's vision at dragon which is up in 45 seconds. If there's someone who is stealthing Rift Herald. Then last but not least, needed to mediate between my teammates arguments trying to help them differentiate between the petty things and what's really important. I do all that, just to get yelled at by my team for not "carrying hard enough".

My games consist of nothing but these type of teammates. I wanted to try out ranked, but having a negative W/L ratio and meeting people who seem to hate you no matter what you do in this community is killing my drive to even play the game anymore.

And also, I cannot communicate with people who seem to throw elementary school tantrums when you try to make them cooperate with you. You have no idea how absurd it is when you end up getting a chat restriction for defending yourself, and clearly It's not worth it to my mental health or anyone's whose been in similar situations before.

Mini rant done, now I'm off to razor the rest of the hair I haven't pulled out yet.

The thing is, as badly as you say the players on your team are playing, you have to remember the enemy team has 5 people the same ELO as you. They are making the SAME mistakes your team is you just might not see the mistakes.
