Help me please! I am a huge noob :(

Hi, I recently joined League of Legends about a few weeks ago, since my friend in Gold told me that it's fun to play. However, whenever my friends (who are super experienced) play with me, my teammates sometimes flame me almost the entire game for being a noob during pvp. I really, really, REALLY want to get better at this game. I really don't want my friends to hate me for being bad... (one of my friends I've been best friends for a few years now :( ) I watched tons of videos on youtube to try to get better, tried out several different champions in custom or bot but idk what to do??? Please help :( I just want to be able to play the game with my friends without making my team angry at me. I learned how to ward, what cs is and how important it is, importance of baron and dragons, item sets, runes, masteries, and other basics, but it's not enough. I'm still really afraid to start pvp again because I know I might get flamed for being crappy. Someone please- I want to learn how to get better.

I'm sure it took your friends way more than a few weeks to get to their current level of skill. Like WAY, WAY more, trust me. If they aren't hypocritical jerks, they wouldn't judge you for not doing well right away. You'll get there in time. We all used to do silly things when we just started. I considered myself a noob even when I got level 30.

  1. to get better DO NOT PLAY WITH ANYBODY ABOVE YOUR RANK, you go at your own pace and you learn by yourself , take baby steps. you find the champion you love in the game , study other people that are better than you that play him/her , adapt using their tips and tricks to get better , do this till you feel you're good , then and only then should you play with anybody higher than your rank..
