why, when i play a 4v5 game in my ranked series that is the determing game to win or lose the series, it counts as a loss when my adc (i main sup) is afk for 44:35 minutes which ended up in losing the game for me and my team becasue everyone got to full build so we lost our advantage we had. we were winning laning phase hard, i won 1v2 lane and mid, jungle and top had more kills and cs. but the number advanbtage made it too hard to close this game out. so we lost purely on the tristana being afk. and becasue some dipshit 200 kilometres away doesnt know how online gaming works i got screwed and lost my series after one of the best matches i have played this season...... why the hell isnt there anything to do something about that. like a system were you can report a match you lost because of afk and if you never have played with that guy before, so oyou arnt friends or anything. you get a loss prevented or something.

pls riot do something about this shit cause its gettting me so mad. not first time i had afks in promoseries. 4/10 ganmes i have an afk with me.mostly just for the first few minutes but sometimes for the whole game...

It is important to remember that the promo series are just a window dressing. Just a thing to make the climb more interesting.

MMR is the only thing that matters. Not LP, Not your League, Not your Division, as those are just pretty graphics. If your MMR is high enough you will skip Promos, divisions, and possibly even a Rank. Even if you fail your Promo matches over and over, but continue to raise your MMR by wining more games than loosing, you can eventually just skip that promo series and go right into the next division/league.

Focus on improving your MMR over a series of games, like 20-30 games, and I bet you will see much more of a climb than focusing on LP and Promo series.

you could make a smurf account and just duo with it make it afk as the jg and if you win good for you but if you lose just report that you had an afk and you dont get a lose prevented. People have been wanting something like the dota disconnect system but they dont want players to just leave a game because of 1 afk 4v5s are winnable.
