Why should I lose lp for having an afk on my team? Ranked is more of a game of luck than a game of skill and strategy. Change something to make afking either worse for the afker or make it not count as a ranked game. Instant demotion for afking, or if you afk instant suspension or something. Reporting does more than it used to, but it is still very lackluster.
What exactly makes it so much worse than feeders on your team? Having your team combine for 2-20 is just as bad as having an AFK- You're unlikely to win either of those. And in my experience, a 2-20 team is far more common than AFKs. Why is it that people complain about AFKs much more often? Both situations unfairly punish you.
Well, at least with a feeding team, you have a chance to turn it around, the enemy team can get cocky, etc. The difference is between a bad start vs a troll. A troll, thats a 100% difference issue, basically makes it 4v6 which is worse than 4v5.I just came from a game where i was evelynn jg, top died first minionwave. then adc, then mid then support. 3 mins into game. 4-0. 15 minutes into the game, it was 10-1. We somehow managed to turn the game around and we won 30-35... 5 kill lead for my team. On the other hand, I was just volibear jungle, and our midlane ryze left before game started. and it was 4v5 from start. enemy azir had a free lane and a free chance to roam around. There was no way for us to win that game. Which lost me my series.
