Lost 40 lp uppon failing the promotions
I always was set back to 75 lp never 60. Why did it happen ?

if you re MMR is going bad then yes it is.
nm10102 votesIt is very possible to have bad mmr with a win streak. Duoing a lot, having poor luck with opponent mmr, having a close to 50% winrate overall, and/or climbing very quickly can all mess with your mmr.

You can lose a lot of lp from going 3 losses out of 5 and not even getting to play the other 2 games because you already lost the promos.

Kattzy1 votesI believe if you win 1 and lose 2, you lose 25 LP, but if you lose 2 and have no wins, you lose 40 LP. That has happened to me.
