Being able to rebind left click

Hello, I would appreciate if there could be an official stance on this topic as a few people have asked in the past if doing the above may lead to a ban.

For a while I have wanted the option of rebinding my left click. I am aware many have been able to by changing the game files (input.ini) to simply rebind left click to attack move click, and the old left click (the ability to select items etc) to shift left click. I know a few other games let you do this so long as you designate a new button for the role the old left click had

It may not seem like much to some, but there are plenty of forums and comments from pro players in streams talking about the benefit of adding attack move click to left click (so you can left click right click when in an intense kiting fight). It would seem especially helpful if someone has some sort of physical restriction making it difficult to use side mouse buttons or keys beyond those we are already expected to use. There is already an option on windows itself to swap over left and right click for left handed users.

I am aware macros are banned for obvious reasons, but I am also aware input.ini file changes automatically when you change bindings in game in the exact way they would if we changed them manually. However this is simply re binding 1 task to 1 key like any other button you are able to already, and the input.ini file lets you do this. So I am wondering why the league client will not let you do this like other games will, and if there are consequences to re binding left click via the input.ini file?
