Aurelion Sol: "Glacial Augment" > "Phase Rush" ?

i was wondering why everybody play him with "phase rush" and not with "glacial augmanet" (the ice-rune) i allwasy play him like this bec GA makes more sence then PR in my eyes:

  • u can slow a hole area with a 50%Slow after u have 800-GLP or prog it with AA (CD only 7-4sek)
  • u can hit your Q better afterwards or your stars
  • u dont need to stack something to prog it +/- its better for teamfights then for chasing (making enemys slow is also good for teammates, making u fast is only good for u)

so i dont see any real negative points on it? what did u think about it?

PS: my full runes on Sol are most time: tree 5: Glacial aug. + Biscuits + F. Market + Cosmis ins./Approach Velocity tree 3: Celerity + Waterwalking (rarely tree 2: Relentless Hunter + whatever)

Phase rush got changed this patch to give the slow-resist to ranged champions as well.

It allows Sol to go back to his Stormraider's playstyle. Glacial Augment is good too though.

Phase Rush gives him slow resistance again and procs off less damage. Augment is good but Augment itself is kinda bad. The active is the only saving grace for him.
