I like to ask this question every year to see what champs are currently being hated on! If I could ban one champ in the game it would have to be 
As an adc main, Yasuo's wind wall makes me want to grab his katana and commit seppuku 
The game would be much better without Yasuo in it, there's just no balancing him in a way that makes him fun or fair to play against. You always have to divert more resources into killing him than he does into killing you, he's an inherently more efficient champion pick than most others.

When you get down to the nitty gritty of it, there are champions that are inherently more broken than Yas, but his kit is beyond overloaded, and he doesn't really get punished for falling behind. The 0-10 powerspike exists. lel
I don't usually have too much trouble playing against him, but he's persistently annoying, and he gets fed more often than not before I'm able to do anything about it. In a meta with this much snowball, it's hard to do anything once he gets even a slight lead.
I'd rather face him as opposed to a few other champions, but I think the game overall would be better without him in it, as he affects the largest portion of the community.
I want to say because the champion is just unfair for everyone involved.

Lee sin's a tricky one, he's the most popular jungler, very mechanical and falls off lategame (sometimes). But from my perspective, he's Overloaded with utility and has insane base damage. He has Shields and lifesteal, Gap closer and Aoe knockup and sends people flying away, a slow, a mark and burst.
His earlygame is insanely overpowered and his ganks are disgusting. Every role has that overloaded champ that everyone hates to play against. Adc has Kai'sa and Aphelios, Top has akali and jungle has Lee sin.
idk if I'd actually delete him from the game, but I want him to be a lot less popular than he is. I'm just sick of seeing him. He's never not popular, similar to Yasuo, but I find Yasuo a lot easier to deal with.

Counters way too many of my champions impossibly hard, to the point where its like "you can just go AFK farm for 30 minutes or something" which does not amuse me at all.
and , both champions are "high skill-cap" pieces of garbage who both rely on their user stuffing up as their only means of counterplay.
I can't choose between the two atm, especially since Lee Sin is overbuffed.
i hate him: & is broken
Zero skill, zero brain champ. Literally all you have to do is land one of the fastest skillshots in the game that still has fairly good range, and your chosen target is dead. 2 unremovable CCs from grab+knockup for 2 seconds followed by whatever their team wants to drop on your head, and probably tower shots as well depending on the stage of the game. Additionally, his short cooldown ult that silences anyone in auto range of him for like a second, enough to mess up a whole fight.

I'm so sick of the mere presence this thing has.
He makes my laning phase miserable with his constant wave shove. If I do the same I'll run out of mana and won't be able to defend myself, while he gets a free pass for such thing and never has to build either mana or cooldown reduction.
There are too many unbalanced monsters in the game anymore and more are piling in by the month anymore.
I just search up counters to whatever I want to play and pick one I hate most among the lot.
Easily THE most unhealthy and stupid things Riot has put in this game IMHO.
Gold sharing execute ult with a complete cooldown reset. Not even Katarina was this bad in her heyday . Sure, she deleted teams, but she didnt share gold for doing it. Also can we just look on in awe that there is a support who's entire job is to Kill-steal post-6?
Also unrelated, but I wish elemental dragons were never a thing. I really wish Dragon just shared gold with the people in the vicinity (more gold for more people, reduced gold for singular dragon taking Increased gold for dragon theft) who hit it to encourage team play. maybe a revive if you die alone in the pit 3 seconds after stealing it) IDK i just think the league of Buffs and damage is a nightmare. There are buffs all over the map now so damage is all over the place.
