Can Graves come back to bot lane please?

Listen I get it, people like to jungle with Graves. What about those of us that like to adc with him though? I love to take Graves bot but when riot pushed him into the jungle they kinda took away his laning potential against all the current adc picks. I just want him nudged a little more into bot lane again. I miss my Graves adc. I'm not saying you can't adc with him, but it's way more difficult to lane against all the range and dps current adc's like ashe and cait have especially with the reload mechanic and you can't shoot through minions, not to mention his ult is lacking a tad bit in the dmg department compared to the rest of them. He just doesn't seem like that viable of an adc pick anymore.

I never found old Graves too strong or too weak in the bot lane. He was still easy to lockdown when he got fed and he scaled well throughout the whole game. It's just that "giving him the reload mechanic to make his gameplay more realistic to his lore" is a dumb move. The dude's artwork looks like he has 6 rounds instead of 2. Plus, if they made any adc that uses a gun to have a reload mechanic: Caitlyn MissFortune Tristana , adcs right now would be hella weak right now.

I hate how this new Graves is still jungling, can still be played top but was overpowered since people shifting him to different roles. I say give him back his dps and get rid of the stupid reload-mechanic. Cause if Riot can revert Kogmaw's W (which was a lethal tempo effect), they can revert Graves' Passive. Otherwise, put Graves on the rework list.

YES! I actually liked Graves before his rework long, long ago. Always played him adc, never jungle. When they reworked him, I couldn't play him anymore and forgot about him (Hey, this was a long time ago. I was a scrub.) But I still saw him bot. I NEVER see him adc nowadays. He just needs to be too up close and personal against a rangey, pokey meta (Cait, Jhin, and is it just me or are poke supports even more popular than hey used to be??) and gets outclassed.

Bring Graves back to lane, please? I know it might be a bit much to ask for after the cigar, but honestly I don't even see him jungle anymore.

Look at my recent posts,i made one suggesting Graves gets an option to choose,similar how Kayn does,between buckshot,the current Graves,and slugs,which would work like Regular autos but hit harder,he would still have only 2 shots,3 if you use E inbetween,but they would do lets say 130,140,160% damage,so it would balance out,giving him more or less the same damage output as lets say Lucian whos passive double auto gives him 60 or maybe even 70% damage on his double auto

YES. PLEASE GET RID OF THE RELOAD MECHANIC. That was honestly what killed Graves for me. It doesn't feel as oppressive on Jhin because he gets four shots. Two is just not enough. And the fact that his autos can't go through minions when literally everyone else's can is complete bullshit.

Also aiming for realism was stupid to start with. It's a nice nod when it works well (like Jhin's reload, or that Kalista has unlimited spears because they're ghost spears), but in a game where Xayah has endless daggers and isn't bald from plucking out her feathers, it's definitely not necessary.

I’ve never wanted a champion reverted more than Graves. He was always my go-to adc pick and I really enjoyed playing him. I went from playing him quite a bit to literally not at all. I hate what they did to his kit and he feels so damn clunky to play. Sucks cause I have a few skins for him too..

Just give him back his normal autoattacks, keep the 2 shot mechanic (with faster reloads early on), and build his kit around it.

I had the idea that they could remove the knockback on his auto's and make them pass through targets for reduced damage to units past the first one. If he can at least trade through minions then it could be enough of a starting point that they could work on him from there.

But, you CAN play him bot... I'm not sure whats stopping you, but you certainly can... Graves is a bursty marksman like jhin.

As a side note, the community decided to play him jungle. Riot never intended him to take that path to begin with...

I remember playing Graves adc for the smooth autos and his zero fucks playstyle of dashing in and blowing peoples faces off. He was feast-famine as hell with a subpar late game due to his low range, but made up for that with his solid laning phase excluding the cait matchup (which also had some outplay potential then). Old Graves was so much fun, but for me it was not just the reload mechanic that made me stop playing him botlane, it is the fact that his autos cannot pass through minions.

I see old vidoes of him and just get sad. He was my most played adc for seasons 2 and 3 and now I literally never play the champion outside of arams. Whenever I feel like running a meme champion bottom I just play morde, he's more fun.

To get him to bot lane they would have to rework him again since he has a lot of problems

He can't last hit well due to his AA being AOE and unlike Tristana he doesn't have as much control in where it hits In addition his only gets two shots before he reloads and no reliable minion clearing ability unlike Jhin At the same time anything to help with minion killing risks him becoming a stronger pusher then Sivr On top of that his abilities don't work in a lane, they require cramped places like the jungle And with his buckshot stopping at the first minion killed he can't really duel in lane because minions will take the hit (Which is Ironic given old Graves was meant to hit and run in lane)

All in all Graves kit has too many problems to work in bot lane and would need to be reworked.

Maybe he could get some little nudges to push into botlane, but overall I prefer the current Graves. Also I see a lot of people say that he needs it cause he cannot compete with other ADC which IMO is a good thing since they one of the biggest problems in League and they should be actually fixed and not have one of the most well designed marksman IMO turn into another potentially problematic bastard.

In my honest opinion graves should have his bullets go through targets dealing less damage with each subsequent hit also instead of Flat stats from his dash it should be a shield scaling with AD this way he can still be hard to kill but he cant be a ranged tank also why does his dash still give flat stats that kinda design needs to die it should have died with season 2

At the time, wasn't he just a worse version of Lucian? Wouldn't know, didn't play him and rarely saw him before the ADC update.

If your jungler picks a champion that has good ganking-potential then he can work really well as a toplaner.

In fact, I'd say he's a darn good one regardless and probably super-underrated--his rotation does pretty huge damage, and he's pretty slippery/difficult for most enemy champions to deal with. His lategame is pretty shoddy but games aren't lasting too long to begin with, anyways, and with the right build he can still shove his weight around and zone people out pretty hard.

With Graves going bot they have got a mountain of issues to deal with like:

How can they make Graves effectively last hit? How can they make it so his wave clear isn't overwhelming? How do they prevent an outright shut-out due to harass? How can they give Graves a means to trade?

Now the solution could be as simple as "Give him a normal Auto-attack", Problem there is now Graves is considered a good jungler pick, if they revert his AAs to normal ones Jungle Graves ether becomes a very weak jungler or is pushed out of it completly because of the loss of damage but increasing his AA damage would make him too dominant in lane (We're talking Draven axe damage without the need to catch them).

At this point I think Riot needs to make the choice, Do they want Graves as a bot laner or a jungler? because his current design can't work for both no matter how much they change it.
