Just got crushed by a Zed last game saltpost confirmed.
Didnt even bother to build ANY armor or HP or even a stopwatch after getting massively behind.
So cancerous*[sg-ahri-1]*
None of that means that Zed isn't broken, if anything, suggesting he has to adjust build path that much is probably an indicator that Zed is just overtuned in terms of mobility + damage. But here you are anyway with another toxic shitpost attacking the messenger and defending a champ commonly cited as too strong.
My advice OP, something you can actually take away from here and get some useful value out of it, and not the cancerous toxic garbage seen ^ would be this:
Stop thinking you have an even chance to win the lane. You don't. Your job is to not die, and focus on keeping your cs as close as you're able. Stay out of (his exceedingly generous for a high damage ability) range! But feel free to poke hard between lvls 1-3. Stay close to your tower, don't make yourself a target for the enemy jg. Work on freezing the lane.
Ping the roam when Zed leaves lane. Very important. If you're playing correctly, and the Zed is good, he won't stick around if you're not playing the toxic game. Anytime Zed leaves lane, punish him hard by hitting the tower. Do not follow, esp as an immobile mage, good teammates will understand this.
Make sure your teammates understand the key to beating Zed is to not engage him until late. ADCs probably have the best chance of bringing him down (not sure), but every so often you'll have someone on your team that really gets it and has a champ that counters him well. Zed truly is poorly designed and toxic broken trash, but becomes manageable later. Just pretend he isn't there, play around him and avoid like he has the riot plague. Not fun? True. Makes no sense? Also true. Antithetical to fair game play mechanics? Yep. Riot plague.
Unless you've got a bad Zed, your jg's time is maybe better spent making sure bot/top lane succeeds - whatever will fall faster.
Don't play so that you have to alter your build path just for Zed. If you're up against lots of AD its fine, but don't go out of your way thinking you're going to win the lane because of it. That's just bad advice unless you happen to also be running resolve.
Zed's shadow is his flexibility. Once it poofs, he's on cooldown. That will be your opening.
Play Draft. Banning Zed is a solid choice, so solid often both teams will ban him.

What are you talking about? This is 100% straight up bullshit. If you feed Syndra literally 19 kills in 26 minutes and don't buy any MR, that is 1000% YOUR FAULT and not the champions. In what world do you live where you dont counterbuild the enemies?Lets see. The enemies have:
8/0/11
9/1/13
19/4/6
2/2/11
But building Armor for sure means Zed is OP? Literally the ONLY armor item on their entire team is a
on the support lol
"Counterbuilding means the enemy champs are OP" come on man
Stop thinking you have an even chance to win the lane. You don't.
Complete horseshit

Correct. Should ping any time your lane opponent leaves though. Regardless of the champ.

It's actually saving CC for him in teamfights. Or an exhaust. Zed is a terrible team fighter and would rather make picks or 1v1 splitpush. You want to stay grouped when possible and ward up.

Not even sure what you mean by this.
Don't play so that you have to alter your build path just for Zed.
This is absolutely horrendous advice. You should ALWAYS be building with the enemy team in mind. This isnt limited to just Zed. You should always be monitoring how all the enemies are doing on the enemy team and adjusting your build appropriately.
Zed's shadow is his flexibility. Once it poofs, he's on cooldown. That will be your opening.
Correct. Zed's Shadow has a 22 second cooldown at rank 1 and he maxes it last

You are completely free to ban whoever you want. I'm not wasting my ban on him though
8/0/11
9/1/13
19/4/6
2/2/11
Like I said. Avoid plague Zed. 19 is overkill. My guess is that after 3 or 4 the game snowballed out of control. Like I also said, OK to build armor early when EVERY CHAMP IS AD. Looks like there was more than 1 thing that went wrong in that match though. 0-8 jg, bot lane hammered.
No it means that in this one particular game, Zed got very fed. If you get behind in lane, you always ave to adapt your build and playstyle. When your getting beaten hard, you have to let go of the glass cannon dream. Its no longer an option. Zed does not get that many kills every game. It has nothing to do with the champ.
I dont post on the boards often but this ENTIRE post just completely flabbergasted me to the point where I physically could not handle sitting back and letting it go. Im not a great LOL player but as a Plat player and former Zed main I have a few things to add.
You absolutely have an even chance to win lane. Levels 1 and 2, Zed has a short skillshot that loses the majority of its damage if it hits a single minion before it hits you. Auto attack him. Not that hard. His "exceedingly high" range is actually 125 for his auto and 900 for his Q. Very few mid lane champs have lower range than Zed. Pro tip: sit behind the minions that appear in your lane every once in a while and laugh as he does no damage to you. They're useful for more than just missing CS.
I think this is the only valid point you actually listed in your post.
The key to beating zed is the exact same as the key to beating EVERY other champ in the game. And you have more than one option. A) Have your jg camp him...... B) Shove his lane in faster than he can wave clear (his w is 22 seconds at rank 1. He cannot clear waves reliably if he wants to save his engage/disengage..... C) BUILD TO BEAT HIM. YOU DONT BEAT A LUCIAN BY BUILDING MAGIC RESIST, YOU DONT KILL TOWERS BY BUILDING CRIT CHANCE, YOU DONT BEAT TANKS BY BUILDING A 40 MINUTE DORANS BLADE, AND YOU DONT BEAT ZED BY BUILDING FULL DAMAGE. ............. If you choose to forego armor items against a Zed, yes he will kill you. His champ is designed to do 1 thing and that is kill squishes. If you build like a squishy, you may as well just run it down mid and feed him intentionally because there's very little difference.
Camp his ass regardless of skill level. Assassins are made to 1v1, not 2v1.
Refer to number 3 above. Then read it once more for good measure.
If you already realize his greatest weakness... why are you complaining? Thats like saying "Nasus is OP so broken needs nerfs. But don't worry, if he doesn't have his ult he's actually not all that strong. Just once every few minutes" Like actually wtf? You contradict yourself in your own shitpost.
If he was in the top 10 WR champs I might agree. Top 20? Still might agree. Hell TOP 50 WR CHAMPS AND I MIGHT AGREE. Currently Zed is #62 in WR and on average is sitting at >50% WR (taken from op.gg). He statistically wins fewer games than he loses. In fact.... In your current tier of Bronze II, Zed has about a 48% WR. You're complaining about a subpar champion that will be more likely to lose a game for his team than win it. If you want to get out of Bronze, keep Zed unbanned so the enemy team can play it and give you a free win.
Play smarter, not harder.
That doesn't take at all into account whatever champ you're trying to play against him. He can play passive. It works. Its not your jg's job to babysit Zed by virtue of the fact that he's in the game. This isn't to say there aren't other strategies for dealing with him, but for where the OP is at I think this is a decent start. If you want to tell him how to push lane without getting deleted by WEQ go ahead, but 'just push lane' doesn't cut it. But to my original points, which I stand by, I would add:
Look at vids of your champ vs Zed and follow/listen only to experienced mains that can guide you and show you the dance steps.
Listen to solid advice. I've given you very specific things that you can do, not empty bullshit platitudes like 'push lane' if you can't even step into range to cs.
When it comes to high skill ceiling champs, it's not op, it's just genuine skill
(Looking at you leesin and leblanc mains)
People say "just peal him and he's useless", yet you can only really do that with enchanter sups because of his ult being untargetable. By the time you can react to him, your carry has died :(.
Lol what? His ult gives you a .75 second warning that tells you the exact spot where he is going to be then another 3 seconds before it pops. How is that no time to react exactly?

His WR flash range is 1950 units. That's why he's cancer. If his W actually hits you with an ability, you are most likely dead to the inevitable proc. Sure he could R away and you could Zhoyna, but then that's down. Or he could just sit there.
Tbh just flat armor counters zed more than zhoyna, and HP is worse because the lack of resistance will just blow you up twice as hard.
No
Hypothetical situation hotshot, you're Zed and you R the ADC, and then they immediately flash and auto you once, do you:
Duskblade is what makes him OP but if lethality never existed I think zed would be balanced.
I know i am probably going to get downvoted for mentioning win rate but.
With how much skill it takes to play Zed effectively, he shouldn't be sitting at a 50% Win Rate.
are more cancerous
I mean zed requires some skill but zoe and yas are easy af
