Stop autolocking

Make so you can't lock in with in the first 10 seconds of champion selection so people don't lock in champs or lanes they didn't call. It would stop a lot of dodging and allow players to communicate before selecting any random champion

Okay: let's examine the function of the lock in button. When everyone has locked in, the game starts and the timer skips to 0. It's there to make games start faster. My proposition is: have a 'cancel lock' button become available after you lock in that allows you to go back to champ select. Once everyone locks in, this button is disabled and the timer jumps to 0 as normal. I believe this is DOTA's model, and has been working fine for a long time now.

Whilst i agree completely with removing auto locking, setting a timer on it just means that people will do the same thing 10 seconds in. If someone is going to auto lock then they dont care what you say.

How about you use team builder if you don't like auto lockers... The logic behind I got in the chat room first and typed someone is dumb. If i'm going to spend my time and get IP or pay and get RP I will play what ever the hell I want in NORMALS..

Nah, Riot is too lazy to this.

I agree, I absulutly hate it when that one jerk auto locks as the role I wanted but never called it.

I care less about the potential and practically non existent outcome of "name and shame" over the absolute misery of being stuck playing with jackasses. I play a lot of games and this is the ONLY game I get held hostage for 30-55+ minutes because two people on a team are being jackasses. Avid Counterstrike player(the original) during it's heyday, no problem, the older CoD games(not really my thing) , no problem. Total War multiplayer, Halo with friends(on and offline), no problem. Starcraft, Warcraft 2.3 online with other players. No problems. Frankly until a noticeable change to the average amounts of douchebags I'm not going to trust a thing that Riot chirps about on the behavior level. Their chat restriction stuff is poor at best and the system for people to rotate out of it is confusing, again at best. By far this game is the only one I've played that engages in a hell of a lot of victim blaming. And hell Ive played EA games.

Having suggested this exact thing numerous times myself, I agree.

Blind Pick is a broken concept. Move on to Team Builder or Draft. Prosper.
