ZephyrDrake1 votes"exactly the same win ratio and MMR" you cannot know what the exact MMR of anyone is since even the sites that tell you the MMR only use an approximation and nothing more so even if you have the same win ratio that does not mean you have the same MMR even if you were in the same rank.
Mysticman891 votesYeah, it's really hard to know if you have the same mmr (keeping in mind that third party estimates are merely esitmates), so you can't really know for sure you have the same mmr unless you've played every single ranked game (including previous seasons) together. The fact he skipped a division while you didn't confirms you did indeed have different mmrs (which probably should have been noticable due to different LP gains).
I didn't look you up, but from the sounds of the other poster you had different mmrs due to last season, although if either you played at all without the other, it's possible to have different mmr gains/losses despite having the same overall winrate.
