Probability, Distribution, Resource management.

If you don't know the Drop rates by level for each $ and how the change your absolutely crippling your ability realistically judge how many rounds it takes to power spike your comp. If your running a comp that absolutely needs a specific item and you don't have it from wolfs you need to know how to drop your HP safely and how far down you need to drop to get priority on carasol.

I literally que for ranked and let a random player pick any comp they want for me to force and am climbing thru silver.

Its 100% luck. The top 4 will always have the meta comp. either you get it by being lucky or you dont

I let random players call out a comp. Then built it and made top 4 back to back 3 games in ranked. The gap between knowing how to play and not understanding the mechanics in the game is pretty big. Your 100% the kind of person I love to play poker vs.

Pirates. 4th. Glacial. 3rd. Nobles. 1st.

Relied on simple mechanics of managing my HP for items and Gold for champions. Its easier to play your hand then try to force a comp but most folks still don't get the game and rely on "luck" wasting reroll or not manipulating wins or losses to finish core items.

I Literally let people pick the comp.

If you are forcing the meta comps even though 4 other people already have them then yeah you will lose. Which is what happens most of the time. Someone forcing a comp to such ridiculous levels and ignoring the easy comps that present themselves in silver platters in from of people.
