I just had a question about season 6 rewards. do you have to end IN the certain division to get the border, or do you HAVE TO REACH it at some point during the season. a friend said you just have to get to lets say gold to get rewards but you dont have to END in gold. true or no? first tiem ever posting i wasnt sure where to put it

Mysticman891 votesYeah you have to end the ranked season in gold for the gold tier rewards.
It's what you are at the end of ranked season though, not necessarily what you are when ranks reset. So for example you might end the ranked season in gold 4, but fall to silver during what is technically preseason 2017 before your rank is actually reset for the 2017 ranked season. In that case you'd still get the rewards suitable to gold 4 (although your placement matches would reflect the mmr you had at the time of the ranked reset, e.g. a silverish mmr), so your friend may have been confused with that sort of thing instead of lieing or being 100% mistaken.
