Im sick of heading into my games and vs a Katarina she seems so broken but is there any other way to without picking a hard cc mid or a having a hard cc team comp with everyone having cc so they dont die to her and when I talk to high elo players they always say "only high elo players how to counter her muhahah" So can anyone please tell me . :3
bully her before 6 build some mr b when you're low health if you care about the rest of your team stun, knockup, or silence her ult don't get caught out
Try picking one of these:
the problem is not countering her. the problem is telling your team mates to step back when she's missing, but when they die under their turret because katarina gannked and got a triple kill then it's your fault
A full hard CC team comp is a little overkill. One or two knock ups/backs, stun, or interrupt is usually sufficient. I had an ARAM against her recently. I was Thresh and I just Flayed for every time she tried to Shen Po our team. It shut her down very nicely.
If you're struggling with kat and 0 direction at all. Keep in mind she has no skill shots, therefore it's pointless to right stand next to, or behind minions. Stand off to the side outside of q bounce range, make her choose to harass you with q or farm with it. If she blows Q on minions and doesn't mark you, you have the advantage to trade with her. This is double effective if she blows shunpo needlessly, at this point she has no damage and no escape.
That said she'll probably be going for farm and shove lane with q, try and freeze it just outside of your tower range. This keeps her from having an escape if jungler wants to gank cause she cant help but push up.
When trading keep in mind she has solid damage reduction with shunpo, so dont blow everything there. Her cool downs are fairly short to keep the trading in short bursts as she has no sustain.
If she q's minion waves and it doesn't bounce to you, then check minions so you dont miss cs, check minimap for enemy jungler, pop a cooldown or two and back off. You successfully just got free damage off on her and she has no retaliation unless she shunpo's to you and w's - which is REALLY bad for her as it does minimal damage w/o Q proc, leaves her with no escape, an opportunity to be ganked, all while being close to tower range. Which you should just chase her down with a couple auto's and pop a few more cd's once the damage reduction is off and back off again.
Get magic resist, guardian angel to cancel resets (late game) keep the river warded for roams, shove her under turret so she loses farm, ranged harass, save your cc or mobility for her ult to stop her and then turn the trade in your favor. -Katarina main :)
I usually go with 
and with some kind of CC or 
if none. Or make her waste her ability on a tank and then get her.
I usually play melee ADC/jg or sup. Early on.. just poke and get out. Later on with decent MR, CC+ kill. She is still squishy. Don't group up at one place to give her those kills.
If you really have issues with her learn Diana and all in her level 6. Diana ult will also interrupt Kat ult. Go abyssal first then nashors
Don't listen to any other advice on this. There are people recommending champions that get REKT by katarina and pointless items that won't do anything for you early game.
Well, firstly, if you're laning as AP, you need an Abyssal Scepter. If you're AD you need, Hexdrinker, Maw of Malamortius as soon as you can.
Second, you should probably be playing a champion with RELIABLE HARD CC. Annie, Lulu, Kassadin, anyone else with something like a STUN or a SUPPRESS. Do not settle for a bind, because she'll still be dealing damage.
Third, when she roams, follow her. Blow up the wave as soon as you can, and make sure you're there to help whoever she's trying to get fed off. If they die to her... I mean, you can only do so much about your teammates not being able to survive a katarina roam. Ping on your way to let them know kat is on her way. If they don't listen... well, that's their fault and there's nothing you can do.
Late game, encourage people to get Guardian Angels, all AP should have a Zhonia's. If she can't kill you, her cooldowns don't get reset and she may not be able to get le Kat Penta.
In lane, stay well under your tower. If you've been following what I've said this whole time, Kat should have a LOT of trouble diving you, and if she does you are free to do what you want to her until one of you dies. Stun her, polymorph her, suppress her; don't let her combo you. As soon as you see that shunpo, put down your cc. Prepare preemptively if you see her advancing. Unless you've got a huge lead and lots of MR, don't push the wave at all. Try to keep it close to your tower. If your junger wants to gank, ready your cc. If you're Annie, charge that stun, maybe just up to three charges just to do a quick shield > stun combo. If not, be ready on your cc to go all out on her. If your jungler is at high health, Kat shouldn't have the damage to deal with two champions early in the game. If your jungler sucks and dies... well... that's, again, out of your control. If your jungler tries to gank at 3/4 health or lower, ping them away, even if they're a tank. Again, you can't make him listen to you, so if he insists on going in, help him as much as you can without getting killed; if he's going down and Kat clearly isn't, head back to your tower and FAST. Pop ghost, pop flash, pop heal, do what you have to do to get back ASAP, because her cooldowns will be reset and she will blow you up.
i can think of almost 12 champs that will easily beat katarina, shes extremely weak pre-6 and her level 6 assassination is so much weaker than it used to be. her passive got nerfed super hard last season so shes pretty garbo. Basically all you have to do is have quick reaction time and play someone like

Graves seems so broken but is there any other way without having sigar... Heimerdinger seems so balanced...
You just need one form of reliable hard CC to counter her. A full team comp of hard CC is if you just outright hate her.
You don't need a team full of CC. You just need one, single CC.
And even then, her damage is now so laughable that it's not even necessary, though recommended.
Annie, Galio, or someone with a bunch of range like Lux or Xerath. You can also just press the R button with Veigar since she's squishy and builds a bunch of magic damage. That usually counters her in my experience.
