**PLEASE READ** Making League a More Enjoyable Game
Dear Riot Game(s),
Your game has many serious issues I feel you need to fix in order to make the game more fun for all players as well as fair and balanced. I will preface by saying that I as well as other players have been dealing with these problems for quite some time without Riot taking action, so forgive me if this post acquires an antagonistic tone as I have become frustrated over my years of playing. I'd also like to say that I will be posting this in all relevant subcategories of the Board in hopes that more people and eventually Riot will see it.
For starters, there is an infestation of trollers, griefers, and other unsportsmanlike players in the normal summoners rift games. I have no official record of how many unsportsmanlike players I come in contact with but it feels like it is north of 50% of my games, when it should be below at most 10% in my opinion. These players ruin the game for others and waste our time, often refusing to surrender so we must wait until 20 min when the vote needs not be unanimous. There needs to be better systems in place to keep these players from disrupting others' games and keeping us from enjoying the games we play.
Secondly I have noticed over my years of playing, especially as I reach higher levels, that the entire result of a game is often largely up to which champions players choose. There are a number of champions such as Yasuo, Master Yi, Mordekaiser, Zed, and others that are incredibly strong even early in game and are extremely difficult if not impossible to lane against. I fully realize that there are certain champions meant to counter one another and I am not asking that the entire game be made easier, as I appreciate some of the challenging aspects of the game that are of a tactical nature. It is in my opinion that certain champions have been made strong upon creation and have not been nerfed over the years as others have. These remaining champions are some of the most popular champions to play because of their ability to kill efficiently without meeting true competition. Perhaps the fear of backlash from these players is why these champions have not been changed in all these years. I enjoy seeing how different champions explore different mechanics in game but have found that certain mechanics are much more powerful than others. For instance, more people play Master Yi because he has the ability to deal damage without being able to be targeted (Q) and it is difficult to outrun him with his ultimate, not to mention the fact that he is a champion who can easily win fights when greatly outnumbered and can take out dragon and baron solo at relatively low level. A champion like Ivern is rarely played because the mechanics he explores are relatively weak in comparison. I could go on to explain what I believe makes other champions unbalanced such as Yasuo's combination of high damage output and incredible movement ability, but I will refrain in an effort to keep this post relatively short so that it does not become a time sink to those who read it. In the past Riot has attempted to buff less played characters as opposed to nerfing these overly strong and overplayed characters, but no long term change occurs because you have not fixed the root of the problem. I believe these champions must be fixed to create a balanced, enjoyable game experience. Many other players I talk with in game know that these champions are too powerful and so it is curious to me why the developers have not noticed this problem or refuse to do so. I don't understand why Riot has decided to put its efforts toward creating new skins, new champions, and new cosmetics when they should be focusing on fixing what they have already created. No matter how much new stuff you add to the game, the game will still suffer if its foundations are not fixed.
