S10 Conqueror is bad

Season 10 has started off probably worse than any other season. New conqueror is a joke. All you do is stack armor and what is 15% of 0 damage? 0. Don't tell me to build black cleaver because that item does not even come close to closing the gap. All new conqueror is good for is either fighting other bruisers, or good on mages. If you're a bruiser fighting a tank, you might as well give up because once they get Sunfire Cape you no longer have an effective means to fight them. Sunfire is 200g cheaper than Black Cleaver, that's almost another cloth armor by the time someone gets their Black Cleaver, then they just stack armor.

It was never broken, Conqueror existed so bruisers could actually damage tanks, now bruisers can't fight a tank after 1 item unless they're lightyears ahead. So now bruisers have to work even harder to do anything in a lane after 10 min.

it existed so tryndamere and jax could fuck rammus players and stop whining that they have no way to kill tanks

therefore it was busted, but on a select group of champions, now its just decent but on a Larger group of champions

You mean good on AP casters because you get 2 stacks per ability and there are no viable MR items in the game?

No its not lol its dogshit on adcs. Idk who in what would would take a 10 stack keystone with 1 stack an auto on an adc, but they need to quit the game LMFAO.

twitch for 1 can press R and if it goes through multiple people he gets multiple stacks and can shred people

im sure if you looked you would find this to be true but I don't really think you care about validity

Yeah and if Malphite builds frozen heart, thornmail and sunfire, twitch does 0 damage, thus 0 healing. Useless keystone. It's good for Mages now because it gives 2 stacks off abilities and there's no good MR items and thye have void staff

Yea as range tops just freely harass them out of lane so they never farm, or mages not only still get a crapload of mage pen and there being 0 good MR items along with the conq healing

It's far from a tank meta, its still all about the damage

Okay so we're all supposed to play ranged tops? That's how balancing works. Throw a whole class of champs in the garbage. BALANCED

edit: I agree with no good MR items, conqueror is better on mages now.

Stop crying dude, Malphite is literally designed to counter AD comps, and he is more viable as AP one-shot machine than tank which speaks a lot about this meta.

I don't think that mages should abuse this new conqueror more than ad champions, but I guess riot will fix it soon.

Not tank meta at all.. tanks are still garbage. I do agree with the general point tho. Conq is not as good now.. I think tanks should've just been buffed and conq left the same. the community needs to stop circle jerking thinking things are broken just to get it nerfed, they have no idea what they're talking about.. its the reason why so many decent champs get gutted for no reason.

While these Conqueror changes weakened bruisers significantly, I can tell you that tanks are still very weak as well. I main Urgot and these changes will hit him as well since I always take Conqueror on Urgot, but besides him I mostly play tanks on top. I can't recall the last time I faced another tank on top! While I do think bruisers deserve and should be strong against tanks, both bruisers and tanks are just weak I feel. Whenever I play tank I am 99% of the time up against a ranged bully like Ryze, Vlad, Quinn, Jayce, Kennen or something that will just poke me into oblivion and there is nothing a tank can do about it. I believe these kind of champions should be nerfed because they overpower both bruisers and tanks, tanks are maybe slightly better than bruisers now but that's it.
