Seriously????? Still no buff on Master Yi?????

Hey guys, i am a master yi player and currently my rank is D4. Today I am going to talk about the weakest champ in league right now: Master Yi. Yea, riot, Please listen to me carefully. Master yi is freaking weak now. And I will show the specific data( win rate on each rank (from bronze to challenger), appearance rate rate, ban rate，etc)for you.

  1. Everyone knows that Tank Master Yi is really op in past season 5 and early season 6,which made master yi's wr about 53%(actually its a pretty normal wr for a low elo champ). But people have to understand that the reason caused this unbalanced shit happened is not about the champ. Its the item. Now the item has already been removed, but wtf master Yi got nerfed too???? And you know what. that's a very huge nerf (R- From 10secs to 7 secs. E - Less damage grants until you got like 300 AD). Can someone fking explain me??????
  2. Lets talk about Master yi's winrate. Make a guess!!! Wuts his win rate in challenger rank during October? Fking 0!!!!!! Yes, 0! Because no one plays him, This champ's pick rate is 0 in challenger rank. Because a fking real league player knows he is fking fking weak. The winrate in Master rank is no any better, 33%, yes, only 33%. People might say that its ok, Master Yi is a noob champ, only low elo noobs play him. Excuse me???? Let me tell you sth, there are only noob players, there are no fking noob champs. But if you still insist that master yi is not good at high elo rank, but works in low elo rank. Let me show you some fking information to help you stfu.
    • Diamond ( win rate: 49.69% )
    • Plat ( win rate: 49.58% )
    • Gold ( win rate: 48.77% )
    • Silver ( win rate: 46.97% )
    • Bronze ( win rate: 44.68% ) See it?????? You see it?????? Even in low elo rank, Mater Yi's win rate is still fking low, none of them is above 50%...Sad.
  3. After Riot removed that jungle item and made a huge nerf on Master Yi's E and R. It's very obvious that Riot hopes Master Yi comes back to an assassin, instead of a tank. Thats understandable and acceptable. I actually total agree, because Damage Yi needs a lot more skills and players can have a lot of more fun. But！！！！ there is a fking precondition, if you nerf him on the tank side, you have to buff him on the assassin side enough, which i never see.
  4. During this pre-season. Most assassins got huge buffs( Rengar, Kha'zix, Akali, Kat, etc), but no Master yi?????? WTH IS THIS???? Yi is not assassin? YI is a tank???? Excuse me?????

Yi does not need a buff. The jungle now currently favors champions that can gank at early levels such as Lee which is just what is in the meta currently.

Not to mention since they're buffing BTRK which is core on him. Master Yi will be just fine.

diamond 4 yi main, cares about win rate of yi in bronze lol. hell he is even banned in bronze/silver.

Currently Yi's winrate was increased to 48% which is guess because of these items item 3153 item 3124 IMO Yi is not well supported champion and seems like Riot doesn't even care. Alpha Strike and Double Strike can critically strike. Greenfather's Gift - Stepping into brush causes your next attack or damaging ability to deal 3% of target's current health as bonus magic damage. How the fk am i suppose to properly utilize that on Yi? Why does it have to be in the brush only? Why only Rengar has to be supported by that mastery?

Everybody talks that Shyvana needs buffs when she had 48% win rate, but don't mind that Yi got 46% win rate and his win rate was keep going down. I got nothing against Shyvana btw I am completely cool with her

in this patch and Shyvana's Win Rate some how got 54% win rate Yi win rate got 48% win rate So Why Shyvana winrate skyrocket and Yi still under 50%?

Everybody says Yi is fine but why only play him in the jungle then and not play him mid and top? Is he better jungler that other junglers?

Too many people are bitching about champs based on win rates. whining cry Yi needs a buff because he's at 48%. whining gurgling sound But Shyvana got a buff because she had a low win rate, and now sky rocketed.

Everyone needs to take the pacifier out of their mouths and think a little. Riot does NOT buff or nerf a champ based on win rates alone. That would be ridiculous, especially since win rates/pick rates correlate heavily on popularity and the current meta.

Yi just doesn't fit the current meta. There was a time in recent seasons that he DID fit the meta. He's not going to get a real buff, because any hard tweaking would put him back into that monster state that no one but whiney Yi mains would enjoy.

Yi is a team reliant champ (just like kog'ma). By this, I mean that the team has to fit around Yi's strengths in order for him to work well. He's a niche pick (just like a "Protect the Kog'ma" team). Kog'ma's current win rate is garbage. Not because he's a weak champ, but because he's heavily reliant on his team.

Yi is not an assassin, and those who want to squeeze him into this role are only adding to his win rate. He's a duelist/split pusher. If you're obsessed with him and want him to win games, play with friends who are willing to play around your selfish ass.

Also, don't ignore all the other champs who have a 48% win rate. It doesn't mean that they are bad, it just means that there are not enough good players with them to push the TOTAL over 50%.

Anything with a 50% (+/-2%) (considering all the aspects that go into creating that number) is a balanced champion. This range means that if you are good with that champion (or play them correctly with a well thought out team comp) you should have a win rate above 50%. Even a win rate of 51% means that you are climbing. If you are stuck at 50%, then you are in the right rank for you.

TLDR = Quit your bitching. Yi is balanced, just like any other champ with a 50% (+/- 2%) win rate. Just learn to play them better, or accept that you're stuck in the correct rank and the blame is on you, not Master Yi.

He needs to be gutted tbh. With riot making changes to the game to really force the team aspects of league, Yi really has no place. His gameplay is toxic to the team he's on because 9 out of 10 of the kills from his "ganks" end up on him which leads to a lopsided distribution of resources that doesn't help a team past 25 minutes when the other team gets enough burst to end Yi before he gets going because the only items be bought were damage and crit. Yes, this also sounds like Yasuo and yes this is why i hate having Yasuo players on my team. I have friends who main Yasuo, and they literally can't play any other champion because they have no concept of how to play off of their team mates or how to not go completely ham 100% of the time.

TL:DR: Yi's gameplay is selfishly toxic and doesn't fit what Riot has been saying they want to accomplish in game design. Expect a rework before a buff.
