Change Nunu Q to allow him in lane.

For those of you who don't really want to read this huge thread, I bolded the major points of each paragraph.

Let me start by offering some clarity: I don't regularly play Nunu . In my eyes, he has very little to offer to the late game fights, outside his W on the ADC. Don't get me wrong, I realize he got some great loving in the jungle with his most recent fixes, and has some great value with his early game and objective control. I am making this post in my sister's stead, who loves to play him. What I want to do with his Q would effect his ability to work in lane, as well as possibly offer some use during those tense moments in late game. Specifically what I am asking is: Allow his Q to work on ally minions. Of all the champions in LoL, none of them can significantly effect minions, outside of small things like Alistar healing minions. If riot made this change, Nunu would have some very valuable impact in lane again. Currently, him in lane is mostly just running around and throwing a stray E out to piss off his lane opponent, but other than that, not actually making a significant difference. He wont significantly effect his enemies transition to late game at all, and since his late game isn't that strong, he isn't like Nasus who would have great value in a farm lane. Making this change would drastically change his application in lane, but since they already gave his jungling a huge buff with, well, giving him buffs with his Q, it won't drastically change him personally. By allowing this, they would be making a champion with a whole new possible strategy: Denying enemy farm. This would maintain his clarity as an early game monstrosity, but also allow him to make a difference if taken in lane. Sure, currently you can deny farm by zoning out the enemy, but none that can directly deny the minion. This would make him a strong pick against champions like Nasus that enjoy being in a farming lane, or gain a lot of value from their minions. It offers him more possibilities for his 'on-the-fly' sustain, as well, since it gives him more options to heal himself in those tense moments. As far as the balance of this change, there are possibilities. Decrease his damage from his Q if he decides to use it on an ally minion, or make it much less of a 2nd smite, and more like a small, poking spell. Also removing his scaling cd reduction on it, and keeping it a constant 13 or 11 second cd is another possibility. Balancing out a change like this isn't wholly difficult, but making the change would offer much more uses to picking him up.

My only fear is trolls picking him up to walk into lane and kill random minions and walking out. The significant effect of doing this to an ally every 13 or so seconds, I don't know, since it's not something I have been able to test.

There's a reason why they removed that mechanic from Gangplank.

Denying creeps in LoL is toxic in Riot's eyes.

Because Gangplank was so fun and full of counterplay when every lane had 7 minions for him and 6 for you and there was nothing you could do about it.

I want Riot to try a deny ability, but it should be a passive, work only once per wave and only deal your auto attack damage so it's actually a contest and not a freebie minion removal with no counterplay.
