@Riot, state of Nocturne?

Nocturne essentially has a non scaling passive and a kit that is almost out-dated. His fear tether has counterplay and even though I agree that it's not hard to land it, the delayed CC is the problem here. Before anyone complains, look at Rengar, he's got an ultimate similar to Nocturne's, but a CC that is almost instant. Noct's stickiness is little to none when it comes to champions that have a dash and/or blink, and that's practically every champion now. Rengar after his stealth gains 25% bonus movement speed, so even if he does miss his Bola, he's got the movement speed to catch up to his opponent.

In the past two years, out of the 12 champions released, only TWO haven't had a dash/blink (excluding their ults) and that's Tahm Kench (which he is a tank) & Velkoz.

Under Nocturne, his primary role is Assassin, yet he is easily outclassed by Rengar/Kindred/LeeSin in terms of mobility and burst?

If he's supposed to deal sustained damage, why is there a champion like Yi that after a certain point of the game (20 minutes~), he can absolutely shred tanks? He deals true damage and even though it is true that CC stops Yi, CC also stops Nocturne too.

I'm not saying Nocturne should be buffed immensely, but can y'all at least tell us if you have anything planned for him? Could you possibly do some kind of Xin Zhao or Fiora treatment where his attacks critically strike after a certain point? Incorporate that as a new passive or something?

Paranoia is the reason Nocturne is kept with those downsides.

Nerf his ult and you will get a buff to the other aspects.

I know Paranoia is really strong, but it's definitely not strong enough to equate to his other abilities being hit/miss or lackluster. By the 2nd rank, Rengar's ult has a lower CD and he gains faster movespeed. Nocturne gains like 100 extra damage (to which his ult AD ratio and AD base damage are poop anyways) so it doesn't really matter, and a bigger range.

Rengar has dashes in bushes, a stronger CC, and an ultimate that doesn't have to fully commit. If Rengar messes up, he can just run away with his bonus movement speed. What's Noct going to? Q with his cast time and try to escape on a 1200 range path?
