I was under the impression that a big part of why cleanse doesn't work against suppression was the fact you can't use summoner spells while suppressed.

Which gives 30% cdr and about 475 ap(minus runes masteries etc) the other stats the items give.
But he has no ULT, he has only 3 spells to use efficiently. Sure he can have 6 items, but that doesent matter if he cant make you stay still.
