what should i play to gain rank quickly?

I've played adc for couple of seasons and even though i have noticed my skill gotten better but my rank keeps falling!!!wtf?

i've mained vayne in s5 and s6 and i've finally come to the conclusion that the champion is just weak (relies too much on auto and on top of that a less than grand laning phase makes carrying extra hard, on top of squishiness).

can someone please suggest some roles/champs to play that can easily carry games? even if it's an adc, I NEED FRESH IDEAS!!!!

Best thing would be to just get better.

The champ only matters so much if you can't capitalize on its strength

You need very good mechanics to succed with Vayne, and often you will need to put all your focus just on mechanics so maybe you can try to pick something that is less mechanic then you can focus on other important things like vision, macro strategy ie think of what to do to win the game as a whole and not only the current fight/lane/trade, etc.

i have another question: if i were to pick vayne, how would I improve?

I have tried 1 v 5 intermediate bot and win under 30 minutes; but i don't see it as much of an accomplishment since it doesn't involve any mechanics

adc has the most influence on a teams damage output, if you do well, and make no mistakes, you can highly favor the team fight your way.

but, mid laner is arguably the better position to climb because you have opportunity to get ahead, snowball, roam and put other enemy laners down too.

Unless you have insane mechanics, you cannot solo carry games as an ADC.

Whenever I really need to carry a game, I play a off tank high damage bruiser in jungle or top. They are very good at removing carries from a game in a reliable way and don't always need to get ahead to do so.

Some of my favorites include

Darius Hecarim Poppy Garen Olaf Renekton Shyvana Volibear and so on. Zac is also broken as tits right now

Based on your current rank, I think twitch will be best to rank up quickly. Winning lane is easy if you can catch them by surprise with q, but note that he is squishy, so you can't go ham until you've picked up some kills. However, once you master him, you can get fed and usually use q+r to decimate entire teams before a fight even starts.

Miss Fortune may also be good, there was hype about a Korean build that was op but I think she got nerfed. I haven't checked.
