Are the new drakes bugged?

So I killed infernal as my games first drake, we didn't get any of the walls melting for some reason... next, the enemy team kills mountain drake, and it displays a CLOUD drake icon in the collection, and doesn't even give the buff until the 2nd time they kill a mountan drake. I don't know why this is always happening, and sometimes it just decides to give the buff or not or even give the fucking wrong buff. Is it supposed to be this way?? I have no clue...
