Many people in S-A is asking for one. Riot has a big enough player base here. People will play more League of Legends here if we can get a server here as we have a 200ms to 2000ms ping here sometimes and people leave to go play DOTA2 rather. With our ping so slow some players don`t wanna go play ranked games.
Eunson2 votesCanada/US doesn't even have 1 server. People play with 200 ping here on the NA server too.
hhaavviikk1 votesno one but riot could know if the playerbase in Africa is big enough, it seems unlikely that it would be profitable to setup a server just for 1 country but idk shit about it so could be wrong
GULAG 4 U1 votesIf the server isn't profitable, then there is no point.
Quil Evrything1 votesmake it just "African", and would seem more legit. there isnt one, is there?

turkish server should be the one they should be playing on, as its just outside of africa.
Quil Evrything3 votesstill on a different CONTINENT though.
I think its pretty reasonable to ask riot to at least have one server Per Continent !
Evewynn1 votesThat span of "just outside Africa" is equivalent to saying people in China should just use the European server. It's quite a ways from South Africa.
Sun Wu Ryuumoku6 votesi think u underestimate this continent size.
Quil Evrything1 votesthe thing is, if riot chose to implement an African server, they might well end up putting it in south africa, since I'm guessing it has better infrastructure, etc.
But you will never get them to respond to "hey build me a server just for MY COUNTRY". It will have to ostensibly be for "the continent", I'm guessing.
Sun Wu Ryuumoku1 votesi agree.
TheTrueVegan1 votesi just played a game and my ping was at a "normal" 200-300. But then it spiked up all the way up to 1000. Pls tell me if its because of my internet or something else i cant play like this anymore.
