Only the past week or two, I realized how enjoyable it could be to watch some high level games streamed live through the lol client. Now it seems to have been removed, it's not on the front page, it wasn't moved into the matchmaking options, it just seems to have been removed?
Am I missing something?
They often remove that box to make room for promoting a special event. It should come back after the event is over.
However, the games are still being featured, and you can use a third party application to watch them. I use the replay recorder BaronReplays, and you can browse and watch the featured games there even if they aren't currently being shown in the client (you can also choose to view different region's featured matches).
thanks for the reply. seems a little ad-crazy, refer a friend ending in a month could easily just be an announcement instead of replacing one of the vital features of the client. it's really interesting to see how these rapid changes are affecting high level players of this game (besides my own bronze V self, ofc).
