What was Riot thinking?

So I've played a few games of the new star guardian game mode. It was painful.

The mode starts out way too easy and the first few rounds are a breeze. Then round 4 or something comes and its permanent CC and more Vel'koz Q's per second than I can count.

I find it hard to believe people can win this game mode. The only way I've come close to winning is to just stand on people's corpses to revive them over and over again, and that is not very interactive gameplay.

So please tell me if you've won this game mode and how.

This mode challenges all of your individual and group skills for league

To win, your team has to behave like a team and focus/rotate targets based on the priority you'd have in any team fight.

So

Individually you'll be tested on the basics of positioning, landing skills, staying with your team, kiting and paying attention to the map Also you'll get practice dealing with different types of enemy engages

On a team basis: You need someone to peel/heal the carries Chasing alone will most likely get you killed or worse get your whole team killed later Focus down the vel-koz's and kog-maw's (focus squishies, peel tanks and finish them off after) IMO the "easier" parts are like tests of different league basics. Herald is the actual challenge of combining all that and reacting under pressure
