What is the point of the "None" option in banning. It's stupid.
Why can't you just make everyone ban someone instead of throwing one away. Especially in ranked. Is there a real point to having this option?

What's the point of giving US citizens the option to not vote? It's stupid. Why can't the government just make everyone vote for someone instead of throwing a vote away. Especially in presidential elections. Is there a real point to having this option?
Because players who didn't want to ban anything would just ban extremely unpopular champs for something functionally similar (Faker would ban Garen every game) which has the negative side effect of ruining the lives of anyone who decided they liked that extremely unpopular champion.
