Kindred jungle

Hey all, i need a bit of help with Kindred in the jungle. I read a few guilds before playing her in a handful of games and I feel Im starting to get a good feel for her. However, I seem to really struggle with the initial clear. I find that about 33% of the time I either die to red buff or have tun run from it. Thats VERY frustrating.

I run AS marks and quints with the fairly standard jungle seals and glyphs (armor and MR w/a splash of health and CD). My masteries are 18/12/0 using FoB. I start with W and at the rocks -> red buff -> crab (hopefully marked).

Any tips/tricks appreciated.

Pretty much every high level player/pro right now runs: Marks: either flat attack damage or armor penetration Seals: flat armor (no health) Glyphs: either magic resist or cooldowns Quints: attack speed

Masteries: 12/18/0 with Thunderlord's Decree as your keystone (this is mainly because Thunderlord's is incredibly powerful right now. Fervor of Battle may become stronger in patch 6.1)

If you are struggling with your first clear then chances are you aren't kiting very well. I'm assuming you are starting off with Hunter's Machete. If you go Rejuvenation Potion you can try starting off with 3 Health Pots instead because they will heal you more.

I recently played a game of Kindred Jungle if you want to check that out. My first clear went horrible because my ADC stole some exp so I didn't hit level 2 off the first camp and yet I was still able to clear 3 camps before needing to back. Normally with a good leash I can clear most of the jungle before needing to back. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7d2jAc0jIw

i recommend the basic adc runes, ad reds and quints armor yellows, and i like attack speed blues with a 1 percent crit with personal preference (red), there is a fun trick you can do with just the wolf camp where you can jump back and forth between either side of the camp wall and the wolves will just run back and forth whiley ou deal alot of damage. maybe after you take blue or wolves go and take the scuttle crab closest to you so you can steal life off of it. make sure to always move even in between your q's to get your passive lifesteal up more often. basically, always use the lifesteal bonuses as much as posssible.

i always start krugs or gromp. and then go to wolves or raptors. i never do buffs first. then go back get the 2nd piece. talisman or the knife. then i take the buffs. i dont see a point of taking the buffs if am backing so soon. kinda waste. and am not gonna go for scuttle that early. not tryna give away a free kill

I usually get Thunderlords with Kin since it has great synergy with her e. Start Krugs with W. If you position yourself in a way, your support/top will tank a few hits. You won't even need to do that due to your w passive, which heals you everytime you walk. Once you finish Krugs, go on down to Raptors. Get Q second. Start the camp by pressing W, and Q whenever it come off cd. When using Q in your W, the Q's cd is reduced significantly. Once you finish Raptors go to Red. Smite it if you want to clear the other side of the jungle. By now, you should be looking out to get Mr. Crabs. He gives you basically full health. He is very kind :3 You should always be looking out for the marks, and ask for lanes to help. If they don't, then it's ok. Kindred is very good early, and can kite for days. Now you can go get your other side with ease. Also, Kindred falls late game IF you do not get many stacks or die a lot. Her ganks are amazing so don't underestimate her. Her whole kit helps her with ganks.

SSBprashy and Randomonium Thanks for the good and in depth advice. Im going to modify things a bit and see how it goes. I dont know why I didnt think of going birds before buff, its what I do with a lot of other junglers lol. I think its because ive been so focused on making sure to get the crab if its marked.

Also, ive never been to those particular guide sites so thanks for that too. More info to data mine when learning champs is always a good thing.
