Riot Needs to prevent Passive Trolling
Ok I doubt this will ever get passed on to the right people but League is acknowledged in the gamer world for having "the worst" community ever.
I get that people are annoyed by toxic attitudes and (I guess) swearing, but one obvious thing that seems to be ignored in great proportions is passive trolling. Over the last 3yrs this has become a growing trend and exceedingly overlooked or ignored. I have seen friends, passing teammates and even massive TwitchTv feeds proving this is an issue yet, players seem to be punished more for being toxic than they are for this direct attempt to troll other players and it's ruining the game.
I don't want to play with a toxic player any more than the next person but I would rather mute a toxic person then have a game with player who sits on their turret after getting a few kills then throws the game and laugh. Or people who obviously play well, then throw the game to be amused by the frustration of others, people who sit afk until 3min mark is up then intentionally feed for 14mins etc etc. in ranked games, duo's who play to get their friend an S rank abandoning others to die then throw the game after they get the score they want then report "good playing team members" they trolled and harassed in game with emotes and other obvious in game expression.
I would appreciated it if this issue could be addressed and shown a lot more attention There seems to have been leaps and bounds to stop swearing and toxic attitudes but no real progress in this category, yet I'm willing to bet there are more than at least 50k players that have stories who can attest for being trolled from as high up as gold down to far as bronze due to a now overwhelming amount of players preforming this act. I can reference people I actually know personally, to payers I've met on the in game or seeing their recorded feeds to actually document trolling but I know that isn't allowed here.
So I guess I post this in hope that maybe there's a chance Riot will show actual concern about it at some point.
