"Reverse Smurfing" should be allowed

Riot should create special training accounts that iron / bronze / silver / gold players can purchase that are independant from their main account. The purpose of these training accounts would be to allow lower tier players the oppertunities to play in challenger/grandmaster games to see first hand how to actualy build a team comp, how to lane against the pros, basicaly how the game should be played. Sounds good right, smarter players all round, what’s the harm?

Riot would get more revenue from training accounts. What’s the harm?

Players could play with their buddies who are in lower ranks without boosting them. What’s the harm?

Trainee account players whould be at a much lower skill level, with poorer game knowledge and sense so they won’t actualy be a threat to challenger players in a 1 v 1 lane. Besides the matchmaker would quickly pick them up as being a lower skill level and de rank them to their actual level quickly so the challenger won’t realy loose much LP. It would even out with the enemy team having equal amounts of training accounts on their team. What’s the harm?

Challengers would have to wait shorter times between games because they would have a wider player pool to play against? Win right?

It won’t be a big problem because the pay wall will limit the amount of bronze players joining high tier games. What’s the harm?

It might accidently introduce new un-thought of meta’s like supports toplane and casters bottomlane. So no more ADCs. What’s tthe harm?

Because it is a separate training account from the low tier players main account, their main account’s LP will be safe. What’s not to like?

i'm convinced the lower skilled player would rage at his team for being bad, Still.

Big NO. This would absolutely destroy the top of the ranked ladder, and streamers would suffer so much by having very few good games to show, if any. People complain enough about preseason.

UM, are you really asking whats the harm? Do you realize what it would feel like to be a plat/diamond/challenger player and have a bronze "reverse smurf" on your team? That's just an instantly good way to ruin a game.

I thought this was sarcasm... but in case it's not, um no, big part of rank is that if you are skilled (means winning games, not k/d/a or some such), you get to play with skilled team, games are more fun that way.

What's the harm? Ummm, perhaps the fact that high elo games will become a coin flip game with whoever getting less bronze players winning. This will do nothing than just completely screw up high elo matchmaking.
