Idea to rework Alistar's passive

Alistar passive is this: Trample RANGE: 300 **Trample ** After using an ability, Alistar stampedes for 3 seconds, ignoring unit collision and dealing 「 7 - 24 」 (+ 10% AP) magic damage per second to nearby enemy units and structures (200% damage against enemy minions).

This has caused Alistar supports to steal many kills because of the damage from the passive. I have an idea that can replace this passive with something even better. Alistar should have a passive where if he loses a percent health he gains bonus armor/magic resist.

_For example: _

At 100% health - no bonus 70% - +5 armor/magic resist 55% - +10 armor/magic resist 40% - +15 armor/magic resist 25% - +20 armor/magic resist (At each percent listed here it just adds on +5, it does not add up 5+10+15+20)

In my opinion the old passive is better: it can be annoying, but ultimately is a really good boon, since it scales well in teamfights and multiple battles and scales well by partecipating. On the other hand, the passive you proposed looks very bunkery and with low interaction - not only you do not decide when that procs, even if you can affect some outcomes thanks to that, but also does not impact others around alistair. Plus he has already a hellton of damage reduction thanks to his ult, thta if used almost negates his passive at this point, and he has an heal too.

Also his old passive helps him in other roles besides support, roles that i find inappropriate to stomp right away by locking him in botlane.

However i like the "less hp, more stuff" mechanic on him ^_^ maybe too much risky but fitting

I don't really understand. I feel like this is an Olaf passive idea sloppily attributed to Alistar. He already has his ult for insane damage reduction. I think the stampede passive is pretty fitting, even if it can be annoying in certain cases.
