Flex Queue Misplacement?

After my original promo's I was placed at Silver 2. My Season 6 ranking was Bronze 2. After this little reset I played one game. Mid, Talon, 9/9/9. We lost, bot fed. I get placed into Bronze 5?

Dropping 3 tiers isn't uncommon. In seasons 4 and 5 I played only placements and placed in S3--->B1 (climbed out to S5 for border). If you don't spam ranked you'll drop just from the mmr resets usually.

A bronze is upset that he got placed bronze.

This is the level of argument we're seeing ...... sigh. What part of Riot's message "You will drop in rankings even if you win all of your placement matches" did you fail to understand?

I didn't play ranked that often so I'll give you that. My mmr is at S5. I'm upset that I've placed down this far despite doing so well.

You just got some tiers down, i got 2 divisions, consider yourself lucky.

Yeah original placements (which are not promos) were broken in all sorts of ways. The new placement after they fixed things is correct. (The one match you played that you happened to lose wouldn't have made much, it just re-placed you after that match based on your mmr once they had it all fixed. Even if you'd happened to win that match, you'd probably still be re-placed into bronze 5.)
