I'm sick of losing so much LP when losing because of an AFK

I've had two games in the past day and half and lost due to a person going afk in the beginning of the game. They disconnect then reconnect which makes it so we can't remake the game. I'm sick of losing 21 LP because of it. It's not fair to me, it's not fair to my teammates and I'm done with it. Riot needs to fix this as soon as possible. A solution:

Lower LP lose based on how long the person was afk for, maybe 5 or 6 LP loss if the person is afk the whole game. Then if they are AFK for some of the match maybe 8 or 10 LP loss. I hate gaining 14 LP a game then losing 21 due to afk people. It drives me crazy that Riot hasn't done anything about it yet.

Your LP gain/loss is not based on AFKs - it’s based on your skill. Your LP gain being that low means that your current rank is above where you should be based on your skill/MMR. If you do not start playing at higher skill level, you’ll continue to lose more LP than you win until your rank more closely aligns with your current skill level.

Your team decided not to remake the game, thats on you.

Edit: I do think they should ban the guy who AFKd the game as his past 16 games are either remakes or losses depending on whether his team remade or not...
