Is it even possible to rank up from this elo? 15 lp for a win, -20 for a loss, over half your games your team either ints, flames, plays bad or all 3 combined, Riot did a really good job at making it hard to rankup, but isnt this a bit too much? i dont really get how you are supposed to get out of this rank, its not because you are bad, since most your gameplay doesnt really make any difference if all lanes gets steamrolled isntantly, also, Derank for losing a SINGLE game at 0 lp? really? wow, feels great ranking up, winning 2 games, losing 3 games, and deranking again, really fun

I think the struggle with silver comes from the fact that this is where a lot of the new players who are unranked get put into for their placement games. I think it is quite silly from a ladder perspective in that you may get worse players in bronze but at least they are willing and understand how to work as a team just based on being more experienced at the game in general.

In general, I find my bronze games more enjoyable and usually hit a brick wall at about silver 3 when the players don't understand the basics of the game.

You are not supposed to rank up with a winrecord of 173W 191L = 48%. Sorry.

If you struggle in silver elo (or any given elo) it's purely your own fault. Challengers are challengers for a reason, same applies to silvers. People need to stop blaming it up to teammates and start actually improving themselves.

The only way to "Fix MMR" is to "win" but Riots system is build to make you lose if you have bad MMR so you cant Fix it.

Yes, have gone from Silver 3 up to Silver 1 with next to no issue other than the occasional game that is unwinnable. Try looking at your own play first, you are clearly not winning enough games to climb.

Then play good? I go to silver for one game and end up going 15/2 and win. It isnt hard, the enemy is just as bad as your team

Going 15/2 isnt hard at all, i agree. However, winning matches where you have to 1v5 isnt always as easy as it sounds

If you consistently go 15/2 or 13/3 or wtvr you should win 70% of your games. Thats final.

''should'' Well, no. Lets say you play mid and win lane, get fed, and everything while botlane and toplane feeds the enemy team to the point where they are as fed as you, meaning that your chances of winning as a 15/2 midlaner against a 15/2 toplaner, adc, and jungle are way below 70%

I find that playing jungle is a good way to secure a win if that is all you are looking to do. Mid is also a decent choice. Both of these roles lend themselves to winning more games because you can have a larger impact on the entire map for the early/mid game. I lose a lot of game in silver because I get bored with jungle and like to play ADC. Problem is, even when you get fed as ADC, it still takes the team to peel for you late game or the divers will make you toast very fast. Playing tanky jungles will let you do your own thing for most of the game.

I agree completely, lately i've been playing Midlane and roaming botlane alot, resulting in mostly positive outcomes. Also, playing Jungle and focusing ganking in order to feed all your lanes can be a really good strategy

Bro I absolutely feel your pain. I am 72 - 57 this season and I've been climbing from B3 to S2 getting 15-16 LP per win. I have won 22 of my last 30 games. I don't have any answers. Just keep your head up and keep grinding. The only way to change your MMR is to make the game do it by carrying all of the baddies that you're going to get teamed with.

To be honest, I climbed out of silver by roaming around from my mid lane. Instead of only me getting fed I was getting others fed too.

Although the placement is weird with new players.

A friend of mine got placed in silver 3 last season and he doesn't even know what Kled's hp bar is.

Seems legit enough for this amount absurdity if you ask me.

Play only Yasuo, Illaoi, Yi or other champion that can solo kill a whole team . Get very good with that champion. That's the only way to rank up

So i just deranked for going 15 1 - 5 with nasus and 18 - 7 - 4 because i played so bad and deserved a demote

I lost all my games in 2 days in silver. I play good and my hole team is afk, is Inting or just trolling. But everytime in my enemy Team are good player.
