To manaflow or not to manaflow

That is the question...

Okay, since the rework of Celerity, I've been thinking about switching to another rune to perhaps benefit Jinx; afterall, I'm pretty bummed out with the removal of adaptive AD/AP. I've been hardstuck in TheoryCrafting IV for the past 20 minutes trying to determine whether or not Switcharoo! (Jinx's Q for non-Jinx players) counts as an ability. It appears to be an auto attack but also uses mana (when fishbones is out) denoting that it is, in fact, an ability. That's also similar to GP's Parrley which counts as an ability as well so I wouldn't doubt if it'd proc Ludens (Same with crazy).

Question is:

  1. Will manaflow band work with Jinx's Q
  2. ADC 2017 all over again?
  3. Can I have 10 RP?

Things to consider:

  1. ManaFlow Band states: "hitting an enemy champion with an ability increases mana"
  2. Jinx's Q (fishbones in particular) appears to be a damaging ability since: Exhibit A: You literally activate it to switch from powpow to fishbones Exhibit B: An ability, according to the wiki, is a "unique skill available to a champion that makes up their kit" Exhibit C: Has proper traits of an ability which include: range, scaling, cost, AoE, toggle/mode (on/off), etc.

Can't find the information anywhere, but if someone knows what I don't, thanks in advance'

Why not just test it in the Practice Tool? You can spawn a dummy and hit it with empowered auto or ability.

Also, to answer your question I went out of my way and tested this for you. It does not proc manaflow band. You need to hit with an actual ability.
