Thanks for writing in, I went and reviewed your case and it looks like this 2 week ban was properly placed on your account.

We have a very clear zero-tolerance policy for extremely negative behavior, such as telling players to kill themselves (kys), as well as racial and homophobic slurs in game towards other players. Regardless of your justification, this behavior is unacceptable in our game. That's why this chat caused a Two week suspension, that being said after investigating I can see that you were correct the Nautilus did start this.

So for that I have lifted this suspension and restored your honor. But going forward do not repeat what you are called in chat. And while telling people to report players isn't bannable, it is unnecessary as only one report is necessary in game for an account to brought under out attention. telling other players to "report X player" because it takes away from focusing on the game and contributes to a hostile environment.

all i did was tell my team and enemy team to report players for CLEARY breaking the rules. In the second game i said to report sol for flame and giving up WHICH ARE REPORTABLE. Im confused on how i get banned for NOT BREAKING ANY RULES?

I received a 2 week ban for this. and the player that was racist and toxic got away. nice riot!

Everything is bannable now, if you scratch your ass banned. If your teammate trips and falls banned, if you call teemo the devil... you would be right, but still banned. You get banned because you have too many champs and skins and they need you to buy them all over again.

That's 800 more that they want you to spend. I know it sucks but that's only because its complete bullshit, rito is only out to get money now they don't care if the game is fun, or that you get banned for acting human when you're human, they just want money.

Money doesn't really matter, I have 2 accounts that are now permabanned with over 1K spent on both, safe to say I spend very little money on this game now

Afaik threatening somebody with a report or encouraging others to report him counts as toxic behaviour. If somebody is a prick, just mute him and report after match. No reason to start to argue. I've never seen a troll or toxic kid who said "Yes, I was an idiot, you are right, my apologies, sir".

Asking is reportable and bannable now. Better than having the premades spam the "plz report x" every game.

The players couldve always muted me. And a 2 week ban for nothing is harsh. A mute is more understandable

Hope over to the PB boards, that post is almost 9 months old. Its now a toxic act. Their position changes on it, but for now it comes up a great deal as an example of toxic behavior.

Well if you reported them then they are in danger as well. One report over several games wont hurt them, but if they are toxic or troll it starts to bear out in the numbers. Asking for reports however is now repeatedly given as an example to toxic behavior. So you have to just report them and hope others do in their other games. Allegedly multiple reports carry no more weight than a single one does for each game.

the funny thing is before i could report the naut and gp i got banned and it forced me to exit my client so they are home free

but why a 2 week ban? why not a mute? my cousin got banned for 2 weeks for calling a player a %%% and he was unbanned the next day. this is totally different and should not deserve a ban?

No the issue is asking. Its listed dozen of times in player behavior section posts as an example of toxicity. Raving is a WHOLE other issue of toxic. lol I cant figure out how some people have time to write a novel and still play.

That post is almost a year old. Pretty sure they cleared that back up again as a no-no.

You can't go calling for reports. 1 report triggers just as much a 9. All you did in the logs is complain an ask for reports. Should have just muted and reported at the end.

You probably said the bad word in game chat, and it got picked up by the bots that sift through logs all day. My black friend got banned for two weeks for saying "My ni‌bba" after I got a pentakill. The bots don't care about context - only content.

I'm toxic as hell, but I learned that the only words that'll get you banned are black slurs and gay slurs. Someone once told me that mentioning suicide also gets their goats, but I've never seen it.

Yeah, Riot doesn't really do that. Last time I checked, you'd need to submit a ticket with evidence of events that went down in champ select.

Done it before with a group of trolls that had racists names, clan names , and intentionally sprayed epitaphs during the game as a 3 man premade. Riot CS actually looked at the game I referenced, talked to me specifically about it, and that was the last game they played ever according to op.gg. So I feel like it works. It was not just a form message.

Service tickets fix that. They have a player behavior ticket if you truly want to pursue it.

Amidst the toxicity, you became just as toxic. Reporting a whole team usually means you either expect too much, or they are toxic. Most of the time toxic people do a team report. Too much complaints, sum it up when needed to.

they were a 4 man. i told the first pick to pick me gp and he said ok, then he said to pick him nunu so i was like ok. He denied my trade offer and the other 4 team mates laughed like the four man they were

There's literally nothing to gain from asking people to report someone.

The system doesn't work on a "How many reports?" basis, but rather asks "Were you reported?". The moment someone is reported, the game in question gets flagged and the system does the rest.

Well, I guess you can gain something from annoying everyone in the game to report X player. That thing being a ban.
